I'm finally getting around to posting up some photos taken over the past couple weeks... more to come, too. But first, a glimpse of our living room with the new furniture arrangement!

Lovelovelove the new furniture!! Though Orion's fur sure does show up on it a lot, I have the feeling we're going to need a lot of those pet fur roller things to keep it looking nice. :P Also considering shifting the piano out a little and angling it more so it doesn't look so crammed into the corner. Now we just need some occasional tables, and maybe after that if there's space we'll buy the matching single chair. :)

This little robin was very curious. He got really close to our blanket, but only while Shasta was off walking the dogs.
Lunch. We put salad dressing in the little plastic veggie-bottles. :)

Our neighbor's daughter and her cousin. This family has the most incredible genes, I swear EVERY PERSON is drop-dead gorgeous, including the children. ♥
I'd never been to a boil before, but this was a true down-home New Orleans style crawfish boil... crawfish, sausage, potatoes, shrimp and corn all boiled together with some SERIOUS spices, then dumped out on a table for us to pick what we wanted. Our neighbor actually had all the ingredients "imported" from Louisiana for the party. That corn was SO FRICKING good and we were STUFFED.
Shasta helps one of the kids shell a crawfish tail.
