I ordered $57.00 worth of yarn from knitpicks. I've never ordered from them before, but have heard so much about them and their prices are unbelievable. Woot. Sent out 90 invitations & hand-delivered 10, so far. I swear that I'm having the hugest fucking wedding ever. And not by choice! Ah, well, should be fun anyways. A really long update.
I can't believe it has been about 5 weeks since I've updated. It's been a very busy and productive last couple of weeks. So I'll be nice and use a cut. :)

Planning is going very well. My sister, the best MoH ever has been dilligently planning the bridal/bachelorette parties. I went shopping with her yesterday to pick up some more items for the shower & some ideas for hall decor. Flower Girls?

Actually, they aren't young girls; one is 52 and the other is 45!! :) I used to work with the two of them, for about 5 years, and our friendships have continued to evolve over the past couple of years. I've been waiting for my bridesmaid dresses to come in. I paid for my sister/MoH's dress, as the last dress of my four total bridesmaids, back in April. In fact, they called me, to tell me to hurry up and pay for her dress so they could submit the order. Then, I was told that the dresses would be in no later than June 17, 2006. I went out to trattoria de Stefano last night with my future sister-in-law and the wife of one of the attorneys I work for. The attorney and my brother are friends, so I see him and his wife out socially once in awhile. Anyways, we had a fabulous dinner & bottle of wine. I ordered the invitations online; they are already being produced and should ship out next week. I'll be sending out my Save the Date cards at the end of the month. Ken's mom made them and they look spectacular. I am no longer going to worry about finances; turns out that I'm getting more from my mom's estate than I originally thought. Yesterday, I was stressing out about finances. Not only am I trying to put money away for my part of the wedding, I'm also trying to fix some things on my car.
