Wedding Bells will be ringing...
Planning is going very well. My sister, the best MoH ever has been dilligently planning the bridal/bachelorette parties. I went shopping with her yesterday to pick up some more items for the shower & some ideas for hall decor. Got the leaves that my leaf ladies will be spreading down the aisle at the dollar store, of all places; fantastic colors & look real, not to mention I spent all of $5 on them. My sister ordered boas online for the bachelorette party; should be great! This week, I'm trying to put my invitations together, figure out what to do about the reception card issue, and start working on the map issue. Gotta get those suckers out in 3 weeks or so. (I figure after the Aug. 6 bridal shower, should be just over six weeks.) Once the bridal shower & invitations are done, I can start focusing in on the reception hall including decor and favors. Hopefully, I'll have my gameplan together by the end of August. Then I'm flying down to see my Pop for a couple of days in Arizona. Once I get back in early September, then I'll finish shopping for the personal items I'll need on the big day.
Ken & I got to spend all of last weekend together; it was fantastic! First weekend we've really been able to spend together, completely, all summer. Our relationship is healthy and strong. I feel so blessed.
