I've been feeling dissatisfied for a while now. Life isn't bad but nothing inspires and energizes me. After a week of good self-care the listlessness of depression is morphing into aimless agitation. It can be rough being an extrovert because my ability to refresh and stabilize myself mentally and emotionally is never 100% under my control.

I wish I was more into kids. I care about my friends' kids and the kids in my family, but the whole pregnancy/childbirth/childrearing process is less interesting to me than trigonometry, and I feel like a jerk because I'm not more excited with people I care about who are excited about it. Struggling with the weather change. Work continues to be more stressful than necessary as we continue to search for the people I can train to be good, reliable assistants, and of course that search involves me constantly training new people who don't work out for whatever reason. I've been all out of sorts mentally and emotionally. I can't decide if insomnia is the cause or effect. I know the lack of direct sunlight is part of the problem, ky body knows it ought to be getting tons of vitamin d and light but many days it isn't even getting fully light, the clouds are so thick.

Really I'm just posting to say I did. I keep meaning to find something import if interesting to say and I never do. Work is getting better,, in terms of going more smoothly. I may be able to do this job after all. I still fence and dance buy I won't share my thoughts on those because I don't want to offend. I'm not feeling charitable these days.
