i am so happy right now! even though i have to go in to work for 6 hours later, i'm ecstatic. the reason is i got a job at a law firm for 3 months, with the possibility of an extension. it's 9-5 and 35$ a week. the best part is i'm getting paid about $12.50 an hour! heeeel yeaaah!!! and i am going to keep the job at price chopper. it'll probably be ( Read more... )

camping was tons of fun. sadly, it was mostly rainy, but we did manage to have a good time. i went swimming in lake simcoe and it was fairly cold, but really refreshing. i also bought the most awesome pyjama pants at giant tiger (which is a ghetto store only found out in the country). they are black with pink floyd's dark side of the moon logo all ( Read more... )

well the AIDS conference went really well. it was an awesome experience and i had fun. it seemed that at the beginning of the week it was going to last forever, but on friday while we were helping pack up the office it was like "woah, that ended quickly". friday night i picked up a bottle of wine on teh way home and then sara and jess came over. so the conference is actually a pretty sweet gig. i'm working in the IAS office (that would be the International Aids Society), who are basically organising the entire event. so all the cool ppl hang out in our office. plus, there's always food and stuff around. today i didn't do much, just stood on door duty, making sure that ppl who weren't ( Read more... )
