Wal-Mart is great for those of us on a limited income. Here are some of the interesting things I found there over the past two days:

It has been one hell of a week. I'm glad it's over. Went to the bank to deposit my check. Got a roll of quarters for laundry. Stopped by Qwik Trip on the way home to get a cappuccino (French Vanilla) and a doughnut (three triple chocolate bismarks). Got the mail. What a weekend...Friday the 13th and the Ides of March. Amusingly, it was quite a good weekend for me. Today was a semi-loungey day for me. I watched the rest of the first season of Wolverine and the X-Men (I'm surprised by how good the cartoon is). A $5 DQ gift card showed up in my mailbox today. How's that for a fast turnaround? I'm so looking forward to using that soon. :D

We had a blizzard yesterday. I had to walk to work at 12:15 am after the ground was covered in 6.5" of snow, but before anyone bothered to plow or shovel. Super fun ( Read more... )

Today I bought 48 items to restock my kitchen. I spent $105.60. Some of these items were kind of pricey (lean pockets, pizzas, chicken nuggets condiments, cereal, 5 bags of chips), but still managed to average just over $2 an item. This is just one of the many reasons why I rock. ;)
