5:30 a.m. - Repeat of 4:00 a.m.’s activities. I call Maintenance, leave a message. Turn down the thermostat again.
10:00 a.m. - Justin from the apts calls regarding my message. I need to go buy a 9 volt battery…. I interrupt saying the alarm is near the top of the wall in my living room with the VAULTED ceiling. There’s no way I can reach it ( Read more... ) -
I did it!!
I've entered NaNoWriMo for the 3rd time. I entered in 2007, but did nothing. It scared me.
I entered in 2008, and went nuts the last 10 days, coming up with 55,620 words. My goal for 2009 was to look into fleshing it out and getting a publisher interested. Sadly, I did neither.

So, I'm driving to my son's house Saturday evening, in the off/on rain. I get about 2/3s there and my left contact pops out. Usually I'm kind of prepared for it, but not so much this time. Monday morning, in the shower where you do your best thinking, I prayed for something challenging to do at work. I should have been more specific. I don't recall asking for 5 (FIVE) things to be heaped on me at once.
