Just for Seri.....

My cell phone takes crappy pictures inside, even with a light shining on the object in question. WHY it's got SO much green in it, I have no clue. I edited using MS Photo Editor. I WILL be getting batteries for the digital cam soon ( Read more... )

Well, you offered to send me the yarn....
OR, you can get me the exact colors (red heart, etc.) and tell me what color you want where, and we'll figure something out. I enjoyed making these, and would love to make you one. One bigger wall hanging, or whatever. Just let me know. :) *hugggs*

I really really want a full afghan, how much would it be? I would get the yarn and send it to you, just tell me how much yarn in each colour you need and I'll send it, and how much for making it.

YAY! That is just so cool.

How many colors are you going to use?

I generally use Red Heart at ~$2.49 / skein (4 oz I think - not the Pounder, but not the little teensy one either - the average one on store shelves).

The hot pink and brown - just in the rings - didn't take much at all, might just need one skein per color for a full size.

The light rose took 1 1/2 skeins, and the dark rose took 1 1/4 skeins (used for the border as well).

So, if you're going to use 4 colors...for 30 squares measuring approx 60" x 72", I'd need (sample colors going by this afghan):
brown - 1 sk ($2.49)
hot pink - 1 sk ($2.49)
light rose - 7 sk ($17.43)
dark rose - 3 1/2 sk ($9.96)
Tax not included. So about $32 for the yarn.
$20 for my time, plus what ever shipping would be.

How's that sound? Workable?

If I was Really talented, I could make rings and connecting them, sew them outside for a border. :D
