So, after going for my "Work Capability Assessment", I waited with bated breath for my benefits to be cut off.

Side note, for those who haven't had to experience this. Notification of the decision takes a while to reach you. The local gov't department that deals with your housing and council tax benefits(hearafter HB and CT) is notified ( Read more... )

I've been "on the sick" for depression and anxiety for 4-5years, I've improved a lot over that time, learned about how to handle my condition and what I can and cannot do. While talking to a friend last night, it occurred to me that I have never received a valentines day card. My friend was all "Aww, that's terrible." I don't know if i'm being really thick or something. I just installed the newer version of Pidgin. And for some reason, it is now unable to talk to MSN, or something. It tells me: "Unable to retrieve MSN Address Book" . So, have i missed something obvious? Anyone else or is it just me ( Read more... )
