Chapter Eleven
I was going to wait until whatever hour he comes out.
In fact, it’s been 3 hours since I waited in the car like an idiot. In front of his so called friend’s house, that Kamehameha.. I mean, Kame-chan bastard. Not to mention the fact that Tegoshi hugged him the moment he saw Kame telling him that he missed Kame so much.
I wished that guy stays in Osaka forever and never comes back.
It would be great if a truck had run over him in Osaka .
Oh me and my evil thoughts!
I killed him so many times in my mind, I wish it really did happen. Because I could easily do that. But, no. I’m not going get personal things involved with my job.
But, could I categorize Tegoshi as my “personal thing” or “my job”? I dunno.
Still, that Kame-chan!
I feel like I want to rip that boy’s head apart from his body, put it in a plastic case and threw it to the river.
God, I’m so mad. How dare he touch my Tegoshi.
I mean, why is Tegoshi with him.. Why did he choose him..
I ask that very question in head, every single day.
Holding my feelings, keeping it just for myself. I didn’t even realize how much I’m hurting inside cause I feel like I have to bear with this.
If I wanted to be with him, I have to keep all this pain to my self.
Cause I’m nobody.

It was around 12 at night when Tegoshi finally came out from Kame’s house. He waved at Ryo who was just sitting inside the car, listening to songs, looking spaced out. Tegoshi felt like Ryo didn’t even notice he was already standing beside the car, knocking at the car window.
“OPENNNNNNN……… it’s cold yo!!!” protest Tegoshi hurriedly.
Ryo look up to see Tegoshi giving “I’m going to kill you’ look behind the glass to him while freezing outside. Ryo quickly leaned and open the door, letting Tegoshi get inside the car.
“Are you done?” said Ryo half asking, half looking annoyed.
“Uhn!” Look look what Kame-chan gave me from Osaka, this watch! LOOK, RYO!!” said Tegoshi excitedly. Because Ryo refuses to even give a little glance. Tegoshi had to grab Ryo’s chin and make his face turn to him, so that he could get a clear view to the branded watch that was on Tegoshi’s hand.
“Nice..”
“That’s it?”
“I mean, everything looks good on you..” Ryo hurriedly starts the engine. He really wants to escape from this conversation. And was about to hit the gas when suddenly Tegoshi put his hand on the steering wheel as he leaned over to Ryo.
“What?” asked Ryo, surprised.
“Ryo never gives something to me, ne…” said Tegoshi locking Ryo in his eyes.

“That’s not true and you know that..” said Ryo short. He’s still trying to control his heart beat in a stable way, even though it seems impossible since the younger one was this close to him. He felt trapped again.
Worse, he felt like he wanted to take him in his hand and just kiss him.
Kissing him like that night.
“No.. All you have given me is.. Hmmm.. nothing!”
“I’m not the type that… gives presents.. to someone..”
Ryo saw Tegoshi giggles at his statement before. Now he felt embarrassed. Ryo felt like he wanted to get out from that place as soon as possible. Tegoshi is playing with his mind and his poor little feeling. But the fact is that they haven’t even move an inch from where Ryo had park his car in front of Kame-chan’s house.
“Ryo should give me something ne.. For my birthday, it’s in three days..” said Tegoshi slowly as he leisurely moved his leg across Ryo, giving himself a full access to sit perfectly on Ryo’s lap.
Once he’s in a position he’s aiming for, he quickly put his hand around Ryo’s neck.
“I want something for my birthday..” Tegoshi looked in to Ryo’s dark eyes, smiling, as he demands something from him.
In the other hand, Ryo was NOT expecting this to happen.
“Tegoshi, what are you.. doing..?” Ryo’s voice was trembling, and it sounds amusing for Tegoshi.
“Eh? Could it be.. That you’re nervous?” giggles Tegoshi.
“No..” said Ryo quickly. “But.. Just stop this, come on.. Let’s go home.. Or everyone will be worried…”
“But promise me you’’’ give me something good for my birthday.. And by that I did not mean a person’s head..”
Ryo stared at him for a moment. Having doubts whether he should laugh or not to Tegoshi’s sarcastic jokes. He couldn’t laugh anyway, he’s still struggling not to get nosebleeds nor excited in a persuaded way at this current moment.
“I promise, Tegoshi..” said Ryo finally.
“Good..” Tegoshi looked happy.
Just when Ryo thought it would be over soon, suddenly Tegoshi leaned over and kiss him. The same kiss he had imagined more than twice today.
“What was that for..”
“You just looked cute and kissable..”
“Don’t make fun of me, Tegoshi..” said Ryo looking embarrassed as he wiped his lips.
“That is so you.. Fine..” said Tegoshi. He quickly jumps to the passenger seat beside Ryo. Leaving Ryo safe and sound just like that, not knowing that what he did could have made Ryo’s chest explode.
“I’m still waiting for the presents, okay..” he said, not so innocently.

The next day, after school, Tegoshi went to the supermarket. He came to find that place somehow comfortable. More comfortable than being home with a bunch of scary looking dudes. Good thing Ryo was one of them, because at least there was one good-looking guy among those dudes.
However, he was shocked. Uchi hasn’t arrived yet.
This has never happened before. Uchi had always come earlier than him, considering that he’s already 10 minutes late.
Did something happen to Ucchan? He wouldn’t miss a shift. Tegoshi knew that.
Tegoshi lazily waited behind the bathroom section, sweeping the floor if he remembers, and just playing with his new tamagochi. Or randomly swinging his yoyo. It’s just not fun when you’re alone, even though Uchi isn’t the lively type but Tegoshi felt like he had a companion.
It was almost 20minutes later when suddenly, Tegoshi looked through the glass door and saw Uchi getting off from a bus on the street. Tegoshi was so ready to greet him, but then he realized that Uchi was carrying a big bun in his hand.
Wait a minutre, it’s not a pile of clothes.
It’s a child. A little boy in his hand.
Who’s that?
“Tegoshiiiiiiiiiii……….. I’m sorry I was late..!” said Uchi once he enters the supermarket. Uchi looked troubled and in a rush. He must’ve felt bad leaving Tegoshi to work..? Well, he let Tegoshi alone for almost an hour.
Tegoshi looked at the child on Uchi’s hand. He hates to admit that the child was so cute. He never really likes kids anyway. It irritated him by the fact that this child is already big enough to walk, but why is he still clinging on to Uchi?
“I was waiting for Chinen to be pick up, so I was late.. But it took so long, so I decided to go here, and he was crying refusing to stay if I’m gone.. So I have to take him with me.. Sorry..”
Tegoshi just nodded carelessly. He just ignore the child, Tegoshi just can’t wait to tell Uchi about his birthday party.
“Could you look for him for a while, I’m going to change to my uniform.. Here, he’s a sweet kid, take him..” asked Uchi.
“Nu-uh.. There’s no way I’m carrying this boy.. Hey you, walk..” said Tegoshi shook his head. Pointing his index finger in front of Chinen’s face.
Surprisingly hearing Tegoshi’s unfriendly tone, Chinen stick his tongue out to Tegoshi.
That’s making Tegoshi even more annoyed with this kid. But Uchi had already gone to the
locker room, so now he’s left with this Chinen kid.
“What are you looking at?” asked Tegoshi. Hands folded in front of his chest.
Chinen gave him a sturdy look too. But then he was looking at Tegoshi’s hand that was holding the yo-yo. Tegoshi noticed that maybe Chinen was distracted by the lovely toy he got in his hand. He spread his hand and gave it to Chinen.
“Here.. You want to play it?” he said sweetly.
Chinen nooded excitedly. He quickly reached for Tegoshi’s hand.
But in a second, before Chinen could even reach the yo-yo from his hand, Tegoshi pulled his hand away from Chinen. He bent over in front of Chinen’s face and pulled his eye for him, laughing.
“Then buy one your self.. Weeeeeeeeeeek!!” said Tegoshi before turning himself from the kid.

As expected from a kid, as soon as Tegoshi treated him that way, Chinen cries. And the sound was louder than ever echoing inside the supermarket.
Uchi came running from the locker room once he heard Chinen’s crying sound. Completely clueless and trying to get Chinen to calm down. The moment Uchi arrived, Chinen went straight to him and crying saying “Mean onii-chan.. Mean oniiii-chan…” pointing at Tegoshi.
So, it occurred to Uchi that Tegoshi and Chinen didn’t matched so well.
“Why in the world would you look after him anyway? Well, you’re a good person so.. yeah..
But still.. isn’t it a pain?”
“Well I have a two little brothers at home.. So, for me It’s just like that..” Uchi smiled.
“No, I mean.. Why are you taking him with you..? What if his parents were looking for him?”
“Oh.. It’s okay.. because he’s.. he’s Yamashita-san’s…”
“SON?!!” Tegoshi widen his eyes.
“No.. Brother..” said Uchi almost laugh a bit.
“Ehhh?? This brat? Couldn’t believe he has such a kakkoi brother…” said Tegoshi surprised.
“Ah well, I still won’t let him play with my yo-yo..”
Uchi laughed. Tegoshi is still a kid too, he thought.

Yamapi came later that afternoon. As always, Chinen looks so happy everytime his papa came. But besides Chinen, there’s also someone who’s very happy to see Yamapi. Actually, that someone has been thinking of Yamapi in his head, he just couldn’t help it.
Uchi was smiling when he noticed Yamapi was waving outside. He hurriedly ran outside bringing Chinen and his belongings with him.
“Yamapi-chan!!” said someone who outruns Uchi in a second.
It was Tegoshi.
“Hello, Tegoshi.. Wow, you looked happy..” greets Yamapi.
“Ofcourse! Ne.. ne.. come to my birthday party.. it’s the day after tomorrow! Yakusoku?” said Tegoshi cheerfully handing out his invitation card to Yamapi. “I’m having it in a restaurant at Tokyo Plaza Hotel.. It just going to be a couple of close friends.. Be there, yo!”
“Cool.. Thanks.. I’ll be there!” said Yamapi. Even though he knew that boys like Tegoshi doesn’t have just a couple of close friends, but it would be the party of the year for his friends. Lots of people will come.
“Yup, Ucchan will come too.. You guys should go together, my supermarket friends.. Hahahahaha.. but don’t bring that little brat, I could pinch him the whole time..”
“Well, then I wouldn’t miss it for the world.. What do you want to presents?”
“You!” said Tegoshi straightforwardly.
Uchi felt his heart bounced at that. He didn’t even have the chance to say hi to Yamapi yet. And Yamapi’s attention is now focused on Tegoshi. Moreover, the way they’re so easy on each other. Somehow it feels like they’re standing in the same line. In the same level circle of society. In which Uchi isn’t.
“Nice..” smiled Yamapi.
“Hahahahaha kidding, let see… Hmmm what do I want, ne.. Well, I’d like to learn playing guitar.. So, you might want to walk pass a music shop and buy me one, ne..”
It seems just like a normal conversation between these two guys. Or is it some kind of high class jokes that Uchi don’t get or what?
“Well, my next destination for today is a music shop then..” said Yamapi again.
“aaaa… Ureshiii… Arigato, Yamapi-chan!” said Tegoshi jumps around in his place.
Then suddenly, there’s a pair of hands hitting Tegoshi’s around hip right away until he almost fell to the floor. It was Chinen who pushed Tegoshi away from his papa.
“Mean onii-chan.. Don’t talk to papa!” said Chinen madly. Guarding his papa from Tegoshi like an ultraman. It was clearly a battlefield between this two kids.
“Aaahh I hate this little kid so much!”
While Tegoshi and Chinen start their fights, Yamapi was trying to get them to stop yelling at each other. Uchi was only standing, because he already felt left out before at their conversation earlier.
But then suddenly he noticed that there’s somebody outside was calling him. Therefore, Uchi left the three musketeers behind, and went out side the supermarket. Yamapi realized that Uchi was leaving, and wanted to call him back, but he’s just too busy with Tegoshi and Chinen that starts to throw things at each other. And it was the things on the cart.

“Hello.. Nishikido-kun..” said Uchi once he’s outside with that person.
“I need your help..” said Ryo.
“Help.. for?”
Ryo stopped talking for a bit. He seems uncomfortable.
I need help..
I really had no idea how to do this..
“Presents.. I want to buy presents for Tegoshi.. But.. I never.. Well, I’m not good at this kind of thing.. So.. I thought maybe you want to help me..”
Uchi stared at the man who used to scare him with his appearance, but now he looked so sincere and honest. Somehow, Uchi thought it was adorable that he looked this shy to ask for a help.
Well, I don’t really know who should I ask..
Will Ucchan help me?
Even though we just talked a few times before..
I dunno if he’s comfortable going alone with me already..
But… Please help me..
And Uchi will be happy to be able to help.
“Sure.. “ answered Uchi.
“So, are you free after this?” asked Ryo.
“Well, I still have an hour to work.. It’ll be over at 7pm..”
“Okay, then I’ll wait at the coffee shop across the streets..” smiled Ryo, looking all relieved.
“But wait.. What about Tegoshi.. If we go somewhere else, then how he would get home?”
“Oh, today his.. I mean, that Kame-chan is going to pick him up.. And I already finished my work this morning.. So yeah, I’m free..” said Ryo.
Uchi just nodded hearing it. No idea how to react to that. “Okay then.. I’ll see you later, Nishikido-kun..” said Uchi as he waved good bye to Ryo and headed back to the supermarket.
Once he’s inside, it seems like the matter has settle down between Tegoshi and Chinen. He saw Chinen was already seating calmly slurping a big lollipop in his hand. While Tegoshi was playing with his yo-yo alone near the tissue cart, looking bored as ever. As if he wanted Kame-chan to pick him like now.
Uchi’s eyes were searching for the other man, even though he still felt upset from what happen before. Then he spotted Yamapi was walking near him. Trying to approach him.
“Hey, where have you been?” said Yamapi slowly. Looks like he’s been waiting for Uchi to be back.
“Oh.. Nothing.. I was just greeting Nishikido-kun outside..”
“Oh.. For what?”
Uchi shook his head. “Nothing..”
Yamapi just nodded easily. Looking curious, but refuses to be overprotective.
“Let’s have dinner somewhere tonight.. I’ll pick you up when you’re done in here..”
“Oh.. Sorry, I have something to do after this..”
“Oh..” Yamapi looked a bit shocked. Now he’s getting even more curious and starting to get worry. “What do you need to do after this?”
“I promised Nishikido-kun I’d accompany him somewhere tonight… Ah, the boss is looking for me.. Sorry I have to go now, see you later Yamashita-kun..” said Uchi hurriedly.
And there Yamapi just watched Uchi went to the storage room, leaving him feeling absolutely messed up with the last information he got from Uchi. Which probably was translated differently in his head… sort of.. maybe for him it’s more like Uchi is going on a date with Nishikido-kun.

“SON?!!” Tegoshi widen his eyes.
“No.. Brother..” said Uchi almost laugh a bit.
“Ehhh?? This brat? Couldn’t believe he has such a kakkoi brother…” said Tegoshi surprised.
“Ah well, I still won’t let him play with my yo-yo..”
Uchi laughed. Tegoshi is still a kid too, he thought.

Yamapi came later that afternoon. As always, Chinen looks so happy everytime his papa came. But besides Chinen, there’s also someone who’s very happy to see Yamapi. Actually, that someone has been thinking of Yamapi in his head, he just couldn’t help it.
Uchi was smiling when he noticed Yamapi was waving outside. He hurriedly ran outside bringing Chinen and his belongings with him.
“Yamapi-chan!!” said someone who outruns Uchi in a second.
It was Tegoshi.
“Hello, Tegoshi.. Wow, you looked happy..” greets Yamapi.
“Ofcourse! Ne.. ne.. come to my birthday party.. it’s the day after tomorrow! Yakusoku?” said Tegoshi cheerfully handing out his invitation card to Yamapi. “I’m having it in a restaurant at Tokyo Plaza Hotel.. It just going to be a couple of close friends.. Be there, yo!”
“Cool.. Thanks.. I’ll be there!” said Yamapi. Even though he knew that boys like Tegoshi doesn’t have just a couple of close friends, but it would be the party of the year for his friends. Lots of people will come.
“Yup, Ucchan will come too.. You guys should go together, my supermarket friends.. Hahahahaha.. but don’t bring that little brat, I could pinch him the whole time..”
“Well, then I wouldn’t miss it for the world.. What do you want to presents?”
“You!” said Tegoshi straightforwardly.
Uchi felt his heart bounced at that. He didn’t even have the chance to say hi to Yamapi yet. And Yamapi’s attention is now focused on Tegoshi. Moreover, the way they’re so easy on each other. Somehow it feels like they’re standing in the same line. In the same level circle of society. In which Uchi isn’t.
“Nice..” smiled Yamapi.
“Hahahahaha kidding, let see… Hmmm what do I want, ne.. Well, I’d like to learn playing guitar.. So, you might want to walk pass a music shop and buy me one, ne..”
It seems just like a normal conversation between these two guys. Or is it some kind of high class jokes that Uchi don’t get or what?
“Well, my next destination for today is a music shop then..” said Yamapi again.
“aaaa… Ureshiii… Arigato, Yamapi-chan!” said Tegoshi jumps around in his place.
Then suddenly, there’s a pair of hands hitting Tegoshi’s around hip right away until he almost fell to the floor. It was Chinen who pushed Tegoshi away from his papa.
“Mean onii-chan.. Don’t talk to papa!” said Chinen madly. Guarding his papa from Tegoshi like an ultraman. It was clearly a battlefield between this two kids.
“Aaahh I hate this little kid so much!”
While Tegoshi and Chinen start their fights, Yamapi was trying to get them to stop yelling at each other. Uchi was only standing, because he already felt left out before at their conversation earlier.
But then suddenly he noticed that there’s somebody outside was calling him. Therefore, Uchi left the three musketeers behind, and went out side the supermarket. Yamapi realized that Uchi was leaving, and wanted to call him back, but he’s just too busy with Tegoshi and Chinen that starts to throw things at each other. And it was the things on the cart.

“Hello.. Nishikido-kun..” said Uchi once he’s outside with that person.
“I need your help..” said Ryo.
“Help.. for?”
Ryo stopped talking for a bit. He seems uncomfortable.
I need help..
I really had no idea how to do this..
“Presents.. I want to buy presents for Tegoshi.. But.. I never.. Well, I’m not good at this kind of thing.. So.. I thought maybe you want to help me..”
Uchi stared at the man who used to scare him with his appearance, but now he looked so sincere and honest. Somehow, Uchi thought it was adorable that he looked this shy to ask for a help.
Well, I don’t really know who should I ask..
Will Ucchan help me?
Even though we just talked a few times before..
I dunno if he’s comfortable going alone with me already..
But… Please help me..
And Uchi will be happy to be able to help.
“Sure.. “ answered Uchi.
“So, are you free after this?” asked Ryo.
“Well, I still have an hour to work.. It’ll be over at 7pm..”
“Okay, then I’ll wait at the coffee shop across the streets..” smiled Ryo, looking all relieved.
“But wait.. What about Tegoshi.. If we go somewhere else, then how he would get home?”
“Oh, today his.. I mean, that Kame-chan is going to pick him up.. And I already finished my work this morning.. So yeah, I’m free..” said Ryo.
Uchi just nodded hearing it. No idea how to react to that. “Okay then.. I’ll see you later, Nishikido-kun..” said Uchi as he waved good bye to Ryo and headed back to the supermarket.
Once he’s inside, it seems like the matter has settle down between Tegoshi and Chinen. He saw Chinen was already seating calmly slurping a big lollipop in his hand. While Tegoshi was playing with his yo-yo alone near the tissue cart, looking bored as ever. As if he wanted Kame-chan to pick him like now.
Uchi’s eyes were searching for the other man, even though he still felt upset from what happen before. Then he spotted Yamapi was walking near him. Trying to approach him.
“Hey, where have you been?” said Yamapi slowly. Looks like he’s been waiting for Uchi to be back.
“Oh.. Nothing.. I was just greeting Nishikido-kun outside..”
“Oh.. For what?”
Uchi shook his head. “Nothing..”
Yamapi just nodded easily. Looking curious, but refuses to be overprotective.
“Let’s have dinner somewhere tonight.. I’ll pick you up when you’re done in here..”
“Oh.. Sorry, I have something to do after this..”
“Oh..” Yamapi looked a bit shocked. Now he’s getting even more curious and starting to get worry. “What do you need to do after this?”
“I promised Nishikido-kun I’d accompany him somewhere tonight… Ah, the boss is looking for me.. Sorry I have to go now, see you later Yamashita-kun..” said Uchi hurriedly.
And there Yamapi just watched Uchi went to the storage room, leaving him feeling absolutely messed up with the last information he got from Uchi. Which probably was translated differently in his head… sort of.. maybe for him it’s more like Uchi is going on a date with Nishikido-kun.
