Title : Bittersweet
Pairing : Uchipi - Ryotego
Summary : Uchi Hiroki, a young man who has to survive living in Tokyo city and has to support three of his younger siblings, has never thought that at his current working place he’ll meet a little boy -who will lead him to a person that will turn his world upside down-

Chapter Three.
“Hello! I’m Tegoshi! What’s your name?” asked him cheerfully.
“Uchi Hiroki..” Uchi said smiling.
Uchi stare at him a little bit, he wondered why such a boy like him working in a place like this? Because he really really doesn’t seem like he needs money at all. He wears a brand watch and the shoes are pretty and even his clothes are perfect for hanging out in Shibuya or something.
“You haven’t got your uniform?” asked Uchi.
“I got it already, but it’s ugly so I left it in the car and tell the owner that I forgot.. Hahahaha, I thought he’ll scold me at my first day, but it turns out that he’s very kind, ne… Yasashi ne…” said Tegoshi without even a single guilty feeling in his voice.
“Eh?” Uchi blink. “But yes.. Sakurai-san is very kind..” smiled Uchi.
“Oh, so that was his name? That’s why this supermarket called Sakurai Supermarket? Hahaha wakatta! I thought the owner just kinda like sakura flower or something.. Yeah, whatever…
Anyway, what are you doing? Teach me!” said Tegoshi randomly. He grabbed on the price tag and starts copying what Uchi did.
“Chotto!! Tegoshi-san!! Yamette… That’s wrong..” said Uchi quickly.
Tegoshi was putting the price for the chocolate chip cookies to a potato chip cart, he did that quickly so it kinda got already messed up.
“Nani? What I did wrong?” he said that innocently.
“This price tag wasn’t supposed to be on the potato chip.. It’s for the chocolate chip cookies..” said Uchi slowly.
Tegoshi made a pout face. “Aaaaah really tiring! Ucchan, I don’t understand!”
“Ucchan?”
“You can fix it for me, right?” said Tegoshi offered Uchi the cart he messed up before.
“But, Tegoshi-san.. I still have this much to do..”
“You won’t help me?”
“Eh.. It’s not something like that.. What I mean is, I also still have so muc…”
“We’re friends, right?” said Tegoshi sweetly. Tegoshi stared at him for a while.
“Okay.. I’ll do it..” Uchi nodded.
“Arigato, Ucchan!!” Tegoshi smiled.
Uchi still doesn’t understand why would a person he just meet and have just talk a few words like now could possibly be this friendly? Well maybe he doesn’t know Tegoshi.

“What are you eating, Ucchan?” said Tegoshi when they’re having a break time and sat on the locker room. Tegoshi still playing and texting with his cellphone while Uchi just eats his bentou quietly.
“Oh this.. It’s just something I made from the house..” said Uchi.
“You made that? Is that a bentou? It’s more like a rice with egg, that’s all..” said Tegoshi staring at Uchi’s food.
Uchi lowered his head and keep eating the bentou, he wasn’t supposed to be embarrassed about the thing he brought from home but now he really feels it.
“Isn’t it more convenient to just buy it somewhere?”
Uchi smile while he shook his head. “No, I can’t afford buying lunch everyday..”
“Hee? Weird…” snapped Tegoshi, while his fingers are still playing with the keypad.
“Nee.. Nee.. Ucchan? What are you doing after this? Lets go karaoke! Ikou?” invite Tegoshi excitedly. “I want to sing.. Umm do you now TOKIO’s new song? Amagasa! I like that song!”
“Gomen, Tegoshi-san.. I have to go buy something before I go home..” said Uchi. He saw Tegoshi’s disappointed face. He really doesn’t want to make him angry. “Maybe some other time?”
“Really? Hontou? Yakusoku, ne…” said Tegoshi. “ Can’t wait! We’re going to have so much fun! Well, maybe it’s going to be less fun since Ryo would be there…”
“Ryo?” asked Uchi.
“Oh, he’s… He’s a driver ahahahahahaaa….” said Tegoshi smiling weakly.
“You have your own driver? Suggoi!”
“Yeaa.. Yea…”

When I got my salary at the end of the day, I saw Tegoshi’s surprised face when he saw I looked so happy receiving that little amount of money.
I can’t hide my happiness, because it means I can buy Ryutaro a new pair of shoe and also Yuto’s study fee.

“Let’s go, Tegoshi-san..” said Uchi when they’re about to leave to go home. Tegoshi ran to catch up with Uchi who’s already on the street.
“Ucchan! I’ll let you call my name…”
“Eh?”
“Do you want to call me Yuya?”
“Eh..?” it seems like Uchi was out of words.
“Or maybe just call me Tegoshi.. Without -san?? Okay? I mean, Ryo doesn’t even call me with -san, that bastard.. So, call me by just by my name, okay?!”
“Ryo… again?”

I wonder who’s that Ryo he kept talking about. Maybe it was his brother?
But I just got the feeling that this Ryo guy seems to be upsetting Tegoshi a lot.
But who am I to ask? I’ve only known him for a day..

Uchi walked near the main street to find a bus, while Tegoshi followed him.
“Are you going home by bus too?” asked Uchi. Even though he really doesn’t see the point of asking that question because this boy couldn’t possibly going home by bus.
“No I’m waiting for my car to pick me up..”
Suddenly there’s a car stopped right in front of them. A really nice limo. Uchi can’t help to stare at it. Turn his face at Tegoshi. “This is your car?”
“Uhn!” nodded Tegoshi.
Suddenly there’s a guy coming right out from the car. From behind he looked so neat and was wearing a suit. But when he turns his body around, Uchi saw his clothes and hands were covered with bloods stain.
“Tegoshi… Why.. Why?” Uchi found himself stuttering.
“Hi, Ryo!” greets Tegoshi. That man nodded.
“This is Ryo??” snapped Uchi in his mind.
Tegoshi walked in to the car, once he’s already inside he opened the window and waved at Uchi. “Ucchan, bye bye…”
“Chotto, Tegoshi… Why is your driver has bloods on..??” asked Uchi shocked.
“Heehe.. Secret!” said Tegoshi wink his eye before the car went.

Tegoshi Yuya..
I don’t really know about him, but I think he’s something.. What am I saying?
I mean, he’s a wealthy boy.. But he’s working? And he has a driver that.. that.. did I saw it wrong? Was it really blood?
Oh dear, that was blood.. right?
Suddenly I feel scared.. Ah, lets not think about that..
When I got back to the apartment, I saw Ryutaro and Yuto are fighting over the video game I bought for them last week. They asked me, I bought that for whom, but I can’t answer that.
I told them they have to share it since I could only come up with the money for one. But kids seems like doesn’t know the word share. They want it all for themselves.
I was really tired so I just asked them, “Please stop fighting guys..”
Then I took out the new shoe for Ryutaro from my bag, and also an envelope of money for Yuto. After that I saw one thing that’s always making me feel at ease at home, their smiling faces.
Ryutaro hurriedly put on his new shoes and ran around the apartment with it. While Yuto smiled and says “Nii-chan! Arigato, ne!”
“Uhn!” I replied.
But then Kota came and took the video games from them, and they just let him have if or else Kota would be angry at them. I just sighed at that. At least the two stopped fighting. And I really don’t know how to deal with Kota. I’m just so tired I really need a sleep.
“Nii-chan.. Nii-chan.. Yuto-nii and me have prepared the bath for you!” said Ryutaro smiling widely.
“Eh? Really? Ureshiiii… Have you guys taken bath also?”
Yuto and Ryutaro shook their heads together.
“Then you guys take the bath first, I’m okay..” said Uchi.
“Yay!!! Come on, Yuto-nii… bring my boat!” said Ryutaro as he ran to the bathroom and jump on the bathtub. Yuto followed after that. Uchi just laughed a bit. He entered the living room and put the groceries that Sakurai-san gave him before to the table.
“Jyaa.. I’ll cook dinner for them now..” Uchi nodded.

The next day, Uchi was really happy to see Chinen came to the Care Center again.
“Minna, let’s go play in the park…” said Uchi that afternoon.
“Yatta!!”
“Come on!!!
“Waaaaa Waaaaa!!!”
“Huweeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! He push me!!”
The kids were running their way to the park behind the foundation. Uchi really has his hand full. But he’s getting used to this kind of job since it’s almost 6 months. Chinen didn’t run like the other kids, he walked slowly beside Uchi.
Sometimes Uchi felt Chinen grabbed on his shirt too tight like he’s afraid of the other kid.
And when Uchi was sitting down the maple tree, he was also sitting next to Uchi.
“Ne, Chinen-kun doesn’t want to play in the sand pool?” asked Uchi kindly.
“No..” answered Chinen.
“Then what do you want to do?”
“Umm.. I don’t know.. I want to play inside, I want to play with the robots..”
“Don’t you want to play with the other? Your friends?”
“…” there’s no answer from Chinen.
Maybe he was just still too shy to make friends. Then Uchi thought he should be his friends until Chinen gets more courage to mingle with the other kids. Somehow looking at Chinen reminds Uchi of himself when he was still a kid. He’s also a quiet kid and likes to be alone.
When the time is over to play in the park, Uchi brought back the kids to the Care Center. It takes a hell of time because most of the kids still wants to play there. Finally when it was over, suddenly Uchi realized something.
Chinen-kun!
Chinen-kun wasn’t there!!
Uchi panicked and ran back to the park, he thought it was his fault that he lose the sight of Chinen. He thought that Chinen was following him around before, but he wasn’t there.
And when Uchi arrived at the park, he saw Chinen. But he was with a man and was about to go somewhere with that man. Uchi was shocked and he grabbed on a broom near him and hit that man’s back until he was down on the ground.
“Kidnapper!!” said Uchi. “What do you think you’re doing? Where do think you’re taking him?!!
“Ouch!!” cried that man who was still on the ground. Trying to stand up.
“Chinen, come here.. Don’t go anywhere with strangers!” said Uchi hurriedly taking Chinen away from that man. But when Uchi wants to go from there, suddenly Chinen doesn’t want to move his step. He kept staring at the man and he cried.
“Papa!!” Chinen hurriedly ran to that man.
Wha.. What?
Papa?
And when that man finally managed to stand up, Uchi was surprised that he was the one Uchi saw last time. The man with the green jaguar. Uchi closed his mouth with his palmhand, he hit the wrong guy!
“Papa!!” cried Chinen. Tears are flowing from his eyes.
Yamapi lift Chinen up and carried him. Letting him cry on his shoulder. “Hey.. It’s okay.. I’m okay, Chinen.. Look, I’m fine…”
“I’m sorry!!!!” Uchi bowed quickly.

“I’m sorry, Chinen-kun.. Please stop crying..” said Uchi, he bend down until he could see Chinen’s crying face properly. They are now sitting in one of the swings.
“You hit Papa..” weep Chinen.
“I know.. I’m wrong.. Please forgive me?”asked Uchi worriedly. He bit his own lip.
Yamapi was sitting on the next swing, swinging himself back and forth.
“Okay..” said Chinen finally.
Uchi was relieved. “Arigato Chinen-kun!” he smiled. “I’m so happy you forgave me..”
“Because I like Pikachu.. Pikachu is nice to me..” the he gave Uchi a hug, Uchi replied.

“Don’t you think I’m the one you should be saying sorry to?” said Yamapi.
Chinen played on the sand pool while Uchi sat on the swings with Yamapi. First Uchi doesn’t know what to talk about but suddenly, Yamapi said that.
“Sorry..” said Uchi shortly.
“Very simple..” said Yamapi again.
“Well.. It’s your fault too!” snapped Uchi.
“What? I’m just taking him back to the house.. How was that my fault?”
“You take him without saying anything to the Care Center! You should’ve told me first! Because whenever a child came to the Care Center, they’re our responsibility!” said Uchi angrily. He’s already off the swing and standing right in front of Yamapi now.
Yamapi stare at him. The he laughed a little. “Scary teacher..”
“What?”
“Nothing..” said Yamapi holding his laughs.
Uchi was really mad at this guy. He said Uchi is scary. No one has ever told Uchi that.
“Well you.. BAKA PAPA!” replied Uchi cruelly.
“Papa?” Yamapi laughed again. “You really think I’m his father?”
“Well on the dictionary it says the word PAPA means the father of a child!”
“Oh, the scary teacher reads the dictionary..” Yamapi narrowed his eyes.
“Are you making fun of me?” Uchi frowned.
Yamapi made a sign that tells Uchi to sit back at the swing.
“He’s my little brother.. I mean, we’ve just become brothers..” said Yamapi.
“Eh?”
“My father marries his mother.. Then they moved in to my house here in Tokyo from Hokkaido.. Both of our parent was a very busy person, so Chinen haven’t even met my father yet.. When they moved to the house he thought the first man he saw there will be his new papa.. And that’s why he called me papa..” said Yamapi smiling.
“Souuka..”
“I take him here too because his mother is also away on a business trip, and I have my job.. So no one is watching him, and he refuses to go to school.. And he also refuses to have a nanny… So, this was the last choice.. Taking him to the care center…”
“Oh.. So, you’re his brother.. I thought you’re really his father..” mumble Uchi.
“What? Do I really look that old?” Yamapi touched his own face with both of his palm. And that makes Uchi laugh.
“Ah! The scary teacher can laugh!” said Yamapi pointing at Uchi.
Uchi pouts. “You’re making fun of me again!”

“Okay..” said Chinen finally.
Uchi was relieved. “Arigato Chinen-kun!” he smiled. “I’m so happy you forgave me..”
“Because I like Pikachu.. Pikachu is nice to me..” the he gave Uchi a hug, Uchi replied.

“Don’t you think I’m the one you should be saying sorry to?” said Yamapi.
Chinen played on the sand pool while Uchi sat on the swings with Yamapi. First Uchi doesn’t know what to talk about but suddenly, Yamapi said that.
“Sorry..” said Uchi shortly.
“Very simple..” said Yamapi again.
“Well.. It’s your fault too!” snapped Uchi.
“What? I’m just taking him back to the house.. How was that my fault?”
“You take him without saying anything to the Care Center! You should’ve told me first! Because whenever a child came to the Care Center, they’re our responsibility!” said Uchi angrily. He’s already off the swing and standing right in front of Yamapi now.
Yamapi stare at him. The he laughed a little. “Scary teacher..”
“What?”
“Nothing..” said Yamapi holding his laughs.
Uchi was really mad at this guy. He said Uchi is scary. No one has ever told Uchi that.
“Well you.. BAKA PAPA!” replied Uchi cruelly.
“Papa?” Yamapi laughed again. “You really think I’m his father?”
“Well on the dictionary it says the word PAPA means the father of a child!”
“Oh, the scary teacher reads the dictionary..” Yamapi narrowed his eyes.
“Are you making fun of me?” Uchi frowned.
Yamapi made a sign that tells Uchi to sit back at the swing.
“He’s my little brother.. I mean, we’ve just become brothers..” said Yamapi.
“Eh?”
“My father marries his mother.. Then they moved in to my house here in Tokyo from Hokkaido.. Both of our parent was a very busy person, so Chinen haven’t even met my father yet.. When they moved to the house he thought the first man he saw there will be his new papa.. And that’s why he called me papa..” said Yamapi smiling.
“Souuka..”
“I take him here too because his mother is also away on a business trip, and I have my job.. So no one is watching him, and he refuses to go to school.. And he also refuses to have a nanny… So, this was the last choice.. Taking him to the care center…”
“Oh.. So, you’re his brother.. I thought you’re really his father..” mumble Uchi.
“What? Do I really look that old?” Yamapi touched his own face with both of his palm. And that makes Uchi laugh.
“Ah! The scary teacher can laugh!” said Yamapi pointing at Uchi.
Uchi pouts. “You’re making fun of me again!”
