a few things jump to mind. of course, there are a few that belong to Snape. the bit in the first book when he first enters the Potions classroom. you know the one i'm talking about. then there's the one from Prisoner of Azkaban when he's teaching class for Remus. those are both good.
then there's the one Harry says to Snape in PoA, when he's off with the Marauder's Map. the one about keeping his abnormally large nose to himself. loved that one.
but i think my favorite might just be Dudley thanking Harry. just cos... its Dudley and he's such a spoilt dick most of the time. for him to realize what Harry's done for him and his family... wow. a really fine bit of character growth.
(sorry i didn't actually include the quotes, but my brain is quite dead and i'm not up to looking for the aforementioned quotes. besides you all probably know them by heart anyway.)
