Salutations all!

It's been so long since I posted anything, I'm surprised my account is even still here. But it is, and so here I am. Not much has changed since the last time I was on -- work still goes, baby Rachel is nearly 18 months old, and rules our life like a benevolent (but demanding) monarch.

As some of you know, my brother John has loved movies from way back -- he knows all kinds of movie trivia, he went out to California to try and become a professional actor (he made it into the Screen Actors' Guild!), he's written screenplays and had some of his scripts turned into films!

This is a shot of me and one of the new donors during the 12/13 Mission San Luis Visitor Center Opening reception -- but what I really like about the picture is how you can see the red & yellow embroidery columns that I just finished on that black jacket I'm wearing. I think they really add to the visual interest of the outfit.

I'm very much in the Christmas spirit these days. Peire & I got our holiday cards written and mailed, and today we put up the Christmas tree, wrapped some gifts and decorated around the house.
