[Trusting Sean to take care of Charles, you say? It's quite the opposite. He is running around the city and helping out as much as he can, not knowing where to turn next once he defeats a few monsters at a time (the screaming really did come in handy for a wide range of things).

When he sees Alex blasting monsters, he just has to run over to help him. Though he wouldn't be of much help if he had to scream and Alex wasn't forewarned. He can't help but grin at his grey hair.]

Alex! You doing okay?

Sean!

[Alex doesn't even turn his head when he hears Sean's voice at first, blasting away at a nearby monster.

Satisfied that they were okay for the time being, he looks over at his friend, searching him quickly for any injuries. His slight worry bleeds through his thoughts. Damn Tenka.]

I'm fine. You okay? Nothing's happened to Charles, right?

[Sean nods, a bit out of breath, wary of their surroundings. Thanks for the worry, though, Alex. He appreciates it.]

No, nothing as far as I can tell. I'm only out here for a bit, since I don't know much about combat.

[He smiles nervously.]

What, and I do?

[Except that he does. Survival was all he knew in Prison. And his power tends to have more damage on all these things in general--he isn't sure how many of these monsters are susceptible to Sean's screams.]

Have you tried flying at all?

Day 2, Outside the Xavier Mansion

[Teddy wanted to stay by Billy's side. He wanted to be there when he woke up. After the earlier scare, he was more worried about his boyfriend than he had been since the Cube. But it wouldn't be good if the monsters got in the manor. So Hulkling's out front, punching and smashing through what looks like several put together body parts all bent on trying to tear him to shreds. There are a few other creatures in the mix but Teddy was focusing on the ones that were trying to tear their way into the mansion. Every blow sends monsters flying, Hulkling showing off that super strength.]

[Alex did have to give Tenka some credit--it did sometimes make him feel like something is wrong when he normally wouldn't. So he heads back to the mansion, becoming increasingly alarmed at how many creatures are around.

Jumping over those damn Cracks in the ground, he's trying to keep the skeletons off himself, blasting as he goes.

Once he gets within sight he can see Teddy--Hulking just wreaking havoc all around him. Taking a quick glance down to make sure none of the skeleton hands were around, Alex let off a large plasma blast, trying to clear some of the monsters away.]

Teddy! Is everyone okay?!

[Teddy's not worried about the hands. He can snap them as easily as he would sticks of balsa wood. He punches a giant centipede that was clinging to someone's dead body, sending it flying over the gates to splatter somewhere else before he notices the blasts. He tenses at first and then lets out a little relieved sigh when he sees it's Alex. And an okay Alex at that.]

Billy got hurt. Bad. He's inside resting.

Shit--really?

[Alex frowns, and immediately the feeling of 'guilt' starts to slide through the Tenka, even as he's blasting at a few more things, trying to get closer]

I'm sorry. I should have been here.

Day One

[Asha's abilities are not suited for this sort of combat - people, maybe, if she'd been trained to manipulate minds the way her mother could - but the minds of monsters weren't accessible to her as anything more than a dark sense of chaotic rage.

She has to fall back on what she has been trained in. She has a shotgun shouldered, another strapped to her back, and so far they haven't failed her. She hasn't been doing nearly as much damage as Alex, though, and when she spots him she stops to watch for a moment.

It's only a moment, though, because then there's one of those clawed hands reaching out of the ground near his foot. She doesn't bother calling a warning, just lifts the shotgun and blows it away before it can touch him.]

[Alex hears the gun go off near his foot, making him jump.]

Hey watch what you're--

[He turns and sees Asha, though, and the remnants of an arm. Letting out a breath, he nods]

Thanks. Those fuckers keep nearly getting me.

[Asha tilts her head slightly, like a shrug. She couldn't have just watched and let it hurt him.]

The larger ones are easier to anticipate.

[She states it calmly as she approaches, reloading the shotgun as she walks, knows to keep it ready. It's quickly done, and she stops to stand at Alex's side.]

Your abilities are impressive.

I'm just not really used to having to watch where I walk.

[He shrugs, still not good quick compliments, and not in the mood to cover up his insecurity with cockiness]

Thanks. Don't feel like I'm making much of a dent in their numbers.

DAY TWO

[Alex wasn't the only one in his element. Madsen had blurred out of view for a moment before a flash of steel and the screeching of monsters had announced her intent - and she blurs back into view, twirling one of the three swords she had strapped on and sheathing it, glancing back to the creature's corpse with an eerily calm expression.]

Pains in the ass.

[She shakes her head for a moment before noticing Alex, blinking slightly in surprise. He might notice the fact that both of her eyes were gold now, a sign of being in synchronization with Nithal.]

You alright?

[redhotsummers]

[Alex watches in a bit of shock as he watches the woman he knows as Madsen flash in and out as she fought. It is impressive to say the least.]

Yeah--I'm fine. Are you--fuck are you just moving fast? What's the blurring?

Pretty much, yeah - it's a technique called shunpo - flash-steps. Makes me faster than the normal eye can see. Been a blessing in this whole shitstorm, that's for sure.

[She lets out a sigh, brushing off her pants before looking around.]

So, is it out of the question to ask for a teamup against these fuckers?

[redhotsummers]

[He shakes his head, giving her a grim smile]

No it's not. Ichigo and I were looking for you earlier. Hard to get to anyone in this mess.

Day 3, wherever. /tags and flees

[Someone isn't the only one within their element. Nearby, there's a blue-haired woman clad in a steel-grey and deep purple suit of armor, cleaving through reanimati and making them rather displeased with themselves due to a sudden tidal wave after an object around her neck began to shine even brighter.

Pieces of it have broken off, exposing her face to the elements. It's clear she isn't in the best mental state, yet is still kicking ass and taking names. Then--]

FIRE. [...Light above, did she just cause a massive explosion?]

[redhotsummers]

[Alex has little time to react, but throws up a large plasma blast to counter some of the explosion, so it doesn't hit him.]

Watch it!

[...Oops. She hadn't sensed anyone nearby only a few moments ago. The next Fire spell ends up condensed, aimed right in a snake's face as opposed to the Flare.]

Sorry; didn't see you there. [...Still, wow. It wasn't often she'd see someone with such power. How had she not noticed it before-?]

We're all a bit distracted.

[Alex lets out a breath, running a hand through his soot covered hair.]

[He's seen so many people with different powers, but he's never sure.]
