[Alex wasn't the only one in his element. Madsen had blurred out of view for a moment before a flash of steel and the screeching of monsters had announced her intent - and she blurs back into view, twirling one of the three swords she had strapped on and sheathing it, glancing back to the creature's corpse with an eerily calm expression.]

Pains in the ass.

[She shakes her head for a moment before noticing Alex, blinking slightly in surprise. He might notice the fact that both of her eyes were gold now, a sign of being in synchronization with Nithal.]

You alright?

[Alex watches in a bit of shock as he watches the woman he knows as Madsen flash in and out as she fought. It is impressive to say the least.]

Yeah--I'm fine. Are you--fuck are you just moving fast? What's the blurring?

Pretty much, yeah - it's a technique called shunpo - flash-steps. Makes me faster than the normal eye can see. Been a blessing in this whole shitstorm, that's for sure.

[She lets out a sigh, brushing off her pants before looking around.]

So, is it out of the question to ask for a teamup against these fuckers?

[He shakes his head, giving her a grim smile]

No it's not. Ichigo and I were looking for you earlier. Hard to get to anyone in this mess.

Really. So Kurosaki's finally got the stick out of his ass. Good.

[She gives a semi-amused grin and a snort before nodding.]

Then let's get moving. Hell might've just frozen over with that whole development, which might actually be one of the few things that's happened to turn into our favor.

[Alex nods.]

Where to, then?

I know, I know. Just teasing the kid - I understand he's worried, but I think we can handle things if it gets bad.

The path looked clear from where I was coming from - relatively, anyway.

Well then we need to take another path.

We have to go forward.

[He isn't looking to get to safety. He's looking to save people. To take these things out before they can hurt anyone else.]

Right. Shouldn't be too difficult with the both of us on the offensive.

[There's a small nod - that was the main intention of why she was out there as well - keeping an eye out for anyone that needed help and clearing the way.]

Yeah.

[He gives her a grin. Their powers should cancel each other out, so he can't hurt her. It's a plus, at least--hopefully.]

[And she smirks in return, drawing two of her swords. One of the blades is resting on her shoulder while the other is held to the side.]

Let's go, then.

[And with that, she's taking off - if they're going to be sticking together, no need to go into shunpo for it.]

[Alex takes off with her; he trusts that she can take care of herself, at least, relaxing him more than he might normally be.]
