Nearby, there's a blue-haired woman clad in a steel-grey and deep purple suit of armor, cleaving through reanimati and making them rather displeased with themselves due to a sudden tidal wave after an object around her neck began to shine even brighter.

Pieces of it have broken off, exposing her face to the elements. It's clear she isn't in the best mental state, yet is still kicking ass and taking names. Then--]

FIRE. [...Light above, did she just cause a massive explosion?]

[Alex has little time to react, but throws up a large plasma blast to counter some of the explosion, so it doesn't hit him.]

[...Oops. She hadn't sensed anyone nearby only a few moments ago. The next Fire spell ends up condensed, aimed right in a snake's face as opposed to the Flare.]

Sorry; didn't see you there. [...Still, wow. It wasn't often she'd see someone with such power. How had she not noticed it before-?]

[Alex lets out a breath, running a hand through his soot covered hair.]

[He's seen so many people with different powers, but he's never sure.]

[There's a smile, however faint, crossing her lips. That term, however, has her pausing. "Mutant"?]

Perhaps in your world I'd be considered that, but no. I'm not.

[After all, it isn't normal for people to be able to cause tidal waves in most worlds, and after accidentally flooding a couple city blocks not too long ago...]

[She waves to the side with her free hand, having bought them some time with that particularly large blast.] I'm Aqua.

[Alex nods. He figures her name is a code name, as well so--]

[He doesn't care if they are fighting together--he doesn't just give up information that easily.]

He briefly mentioned you after I stopped by the mansion.

[Definitely not the place. Quite a distance away, several creatures suddenly find themselves frozen in place as ice stalactites form from underneath them. The only hint of who it was being the ice surrounding the blue-haired Master.]

[Alex turns around and sees them stopped in place, and proceeds to blast them into flaming bits. It works well, really, with her freezing them, and him destroying them afterwards.]

[Let's keep that pattern up then, shall we? So what if the streets will be full of charred markings ice, and frozen limbs of the monsters invading the city.]
