My Moonridge story is not yet finished.

And I've written a grand total of 90 words.

Actually that's progress -- of a sort.

Maybe inspiration will strike after I get home?

When you can't write a scene until you look up some bit of information like how fast a horse can gallop at its top speed and how much distance it can cover at that speed. And what distance it could cover in a given time at endurance riding speeds (at least 10 km/h ( Read more... )

for my Moonridge fic. I've cut at least 3000 words that were boring and didn't do anything for the story.

Now I may use some of the deleted material later, but having it at the beginning of the story just bogged it down.

Now if I can just advance the plot from what I have left...

I've started my Moonridge 2007 story and it's going very well so far.

I've written 4770 words and that's just the prologue!

Now if this progress continues into the main body of the story, I may have something.

I've written the first 394 words of my entry for The Harlequin Romance Challenge 2007.

I really have read too many romance novels.

ETA: I'm up to 973 words! And things are beginning to get very interesting. Well, interesting to me.

ETA2: 1,271 words now. I have to go to bed before I fall out of my computer chair.
