Week from hell at work. Stupid computer programs :(

Thunderstorms/Heavy Rain = Swollen, Aching joints.

My period. (For heaven's sake! I'm 51. Menopause, please!)

I can't surf the net except during breaks.

Mind you, said brain isn't being very productive. It just won't shut up and let me go to sleep. It sends me back out to the PC to revise comments.

Actually I wrote a few more than that (a three-liner for sv_renaissance), but only 13 words on my WIP from hell. And all of it was editing. Nothing new.

From the moment I walked in the building until I walked out, I was overwhelmed with work. I swear that people lie in wait for times when there's only one of us in the dept. I worked until 5:40pm after having gotten in at 7 am. There were problems on the red and orange lines so the train crawled. I didn't get to Ballston until 6:20. I watched my bus pull away as I came up the escalator. So I had to wait 20 minutes for the next one ( Read more... )

I honestly believe that computers and non-IT professional users plot all weekend on how to make Mondays suck.

I'm glad I have Tuesday and Friday of this week off.

I just want to get through it and enjoy my weekend.
