I wasn't sure I was going to get home tonight
I worked until 5:40pm after having gotten in at 7 am. There were problems on the red and orange lines so the train crawled. I didn't get to Ballston until 6:20. I watched my bus pull away as I came up the escalator. So I had to wait 20 minutes for the next one.
Did I mention that it's gotten cold? This morning it was pouring rain and this evening it was freezing.
The only really bright spot in my day was that the DC office had "Thanksgiving" today at lunch. Apricot glazed burboun turkey and spiral sliced ham. Salads, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, breads, desserts. AND it was free to all employees.
This was my last day in training and I only work until noon tomorrow.
I just have to pack for my vacation.
