October has gone by in a total blur. We were blessed with great weather for most of the month and it ended on the last, quick downhill slide into winter. Our apple tree was the last tree in our yard to let go of its leaves and paired with the sub-zero (Celsius) temperatures, it is nowlooking well and truly like Old Man Winter is knocking ( Read more... ) -

Happy Birthday Adam!
Adam turned big 16 last week! I think he had a good birthday - he went paintballing with his mates; we gave him a running backpack, an Aston Villa hoodie, a camera, pajamas and a donation in Canadian cash towards the purchase of a stereo once we move.

She's Eighteen!
Happy Birthday to Sophie!! We had her 18th Birthday Dinner last night and took some pictures of our lovely daughter. We are very proud of the person she has become and it has been an honour to be her parents.

3:15:20
Michael ran his first Marathon today! He ran a VERY respectable time of 3:15:20 (a scant 20 seconds off qualifying for London..). We're all very proud of him!

First Day of School 2009
Adam and Sophie had their first day of school, last week. Adam is in year 11 (grade 10 in North America). And this is Sophie's last first day of school!

Fifteen!
Adam turned 15 yesterday. He wasn't feeling well all day but he was a trooper, going to the movies with his old gang of friends and then his best mate came over for supper and watched the Champion's League Final with him. I think Adam will be couching it today..

My New Eye Candy
I finally, finally, finally got my paintings framed and they look fabulous!!!
