Michael made this in 2005 for his Parents' 50th Anniversary Party.  I found a print out of it last night as I was looking for some papers. I really like it - and think we should update it!

Last week was a rollercoaster ride unlike any other!!!  wow!!

First and foremost, Michael finally had his promotion confirmed!  Yay!!!  He is in the process of coming up with a name for his group which will probably be the Apoptosis and Immunology something group.  He's also in the process of buying equipment and hiring a technician and a post doc ( Read more... )

It has been a good weekend, continuing now as i sit here drinking my coffee enjoying one more work-free day. I am almost dreading going back to work tomorrow.  The last week although it's been busy, has been a wonderful respite from the daily grind.

On Friday, I was first on the scene tending to a pedestrian who got hit by a car.

This morning, Michael was first on the scene when one of the custodians at work passed out.  Just as the custodian was falling, Michael caught him.

What is going to be the third?  I'm a little nervous!

We had a nice quiet Christmas. For the first year, the kids both slept in and Michael and I were up early as usual, waiting for them to make an appearance. First came Adam and then Sophie finally woke up - had a shower and got dressed before gracing us with her presence.
