Star Wars Was Awesome.
First off, no spoilers here. :D Second of all, if you loved the original trilogy, holy shit, you need to see this movie. Like, right now.

Good news; while they still don't know what the issue was (are waiting on test results), the bleeding stopped and they sent him home again. He's been home for a couple of days now.
Yay for universal healthcare, eh? No charge for any of it. And a cautious yay for improving health (pending test results).

Allergies Ahoy
Oh, hey, remember a while back I found out I was allergic to cephalosporins, the penicillin alternative? But luckily it didn't impact my breathing, just made me horribly itchy; and anyways, as it was a medication, it was nice and easy to avoid? Happy Thanksgiving! Turkey Life Hack!!

Aquarium Update
So we're supposed to have baby snails by now, and the weird part is that we do, but they aren't mystery snails; they're zebra snails. And okay, we did get a couple of adult zebra snails, but if they laid any eggs anywhere we never saw them; they're hatching (well, appearing, so I assume hatching) in the same tank we put the mystery snail eggs in; ( Read more... ) -
R.I.P. Christopher Lee
So today at work my friend beside me suddenly turns to me and tells me that Christopher Lee died last night, at the age of 93. "You couldn't wait to the end of the shift to tell me that?" I asked. "I had to let it out," she replied.
