Retro Spec Now Available
My poem "Rain Goddess: The Dust Bowl, 1930s" is now out in the anthology Retro Spec edited by ravenelectrickTypically, people associate the Dust Bowl with my home state of Oklahoma mainly because of Steinbeck's novel The Grapes of Wrath. It's not 106 degrees, hooray!
On my netbook, I updated Jolicloud to the 1.0 version the other day. I miss the old layout that had the apps organized by folder, but that's not a big deal. The new layout looks like it's emulating a smartphone, kind of. On the face of it, I can't tell this is a Linux distro. And I'm really happy I turned off the Meerkat add-on for Firefox, too ( Read more... ) -

I finished played FF VIII the other day. Overall, I liked it better than a lot of the FFs I've played. The junctioning system is unique, I played a lot of the card game, and I enjoyed most of the characters. Some people I know complained about having to draw magic from opponents, but I think I ended up refining more magic from cards and items ( Read more... ) -
