This is me making a journal post upon hubby's (untexan ) insistance that I should try "writing" again. Speaking of hubby, his bio amuses me. However, I won't elaborate out of respest for my hubby.

So, on my way to lunch yesterday, I notice this guy in a pleated skirt at the office. It was a little unusual considering a) we were in an office building and b) there was no scottish festival in sight. Unusual, but, eh, no biggie.

I finished basic training today. Tomorrow, I move on to training geared specifically to my department. I'm impressed by this company. When it comes to training, they take it seriously rather than doing a half-assed job of it. Anyway, I think I have two more weeks of training before I'll start working on the floor. Although I've never seen Annie Hall I feel like I'm missing something good. I've tried watching it on cable, that's a lost cause. They putting that cartoon series, DuckTales out on DVD?! O...k, it wasn't THAT great.

I have a nightstand! Well, actually, it's just a bar stool but hey it works for me. It's the perfect height, parallel with the bed. No more reaching down for the phone or having to stretch to hit the snooze button on the alarm. It's awesome. I also experimented with Jamie's Lightning playoffs t-shirt. I put it in an album frame.
