Gokudera and Tsuna can't manage to actually have sex because every time they get down to it, Gokudera freaks out at the slightest sign Tsuna is suffering any discomfort. Eventually (after a lot of awkward fail) it occurs to Tsuna that, hey, he can top instead, and happy times are had by all!

Dear awesome OP: I had so much fun with your prompt! Hopefully this is what you had in mind? I hadn't really intended for it to get this long, but then it grew and grew and didn't want to stop!
_____Tsuna felt like a complete failure. Not that that was something new, but he had always thought that there were some things you couldn't really screw completely up. Yet obviously he had been wrong with this assumption. Of course, when Gokudera and he had finally gotten their act together and slowly moved their relationship to another level --to a, well, lower level to some extend if he could say so (and wow did that make him sound stupid and immature)-- he had been afraid of doing something wrong and he had expected awkwardness, lots and lots of awkwardness, but he had also expected things to get better over time. He did learn by doing best, after all

There had been a whole section about licking someone's asshole, which Tsuna couldn't really think about as something pleasurable, until he noticed the little, triple coded remark next to it which intrigued him. It took him a while, but he finally could tell that it said, "Special Occasion? :D". That made him second guess his initial reaction and kind of look forward to this special occasion Gokudera was obviously saving it up for. (It made him also laugh about his boyfriend heavily disguising what was just a small remark that wasn't half as incriminating as the rest of the page, not to say his other, professional notes, as well as a smiley of all things.)

Then, there was a page labeled "Penetration". It started out with a quick anatomical study, important facts to remember and an exact step-by-step guide about how to proceed. Following were pages upon pages listing different positions, their pros, cons, and a complex rating system which Tsuna guessed he wouldn't get without spending at least an hour trying to make sense of it and

The ink blurred in front of his eyes as he lost a bit of his focus while he contemplated for a moment how he would look like to Gokudera if he would come home right now, how he would react if he would find Gokudera sprawled over Tsuna's bed, waiting for him, desperately jerking himself off while moaning his name-- Tsuna's hand sped up and he had to moan Gokudera's name right then and suddenly, his eyes caught at one peculiar part near the end of the notes. Tsuna at once threw his arms around him, pulling them closer together. He knew he still had to smell like sleep and sweat and come, but Gokudera didn't seem to care, instead just groaned against Tsuna's mouth and held him equally tight.

"I thought that you, that you just didn't want to do any of that. With me," Tsuna confessed when they broke apart again.

Gokudera promptly kissed him again. And again and again.

"I want to do everything with you," he proclaimed rather breathlessly yet resolute.

In fact, Tsuna resolved to do all that, to do his best at reaching all these aims for the day. He slept in, ate breakfast really late, lazed around until lunch, played computer games with Lambo, I-Pin and Fuuta and then, in the afternoon, phoned Gokudera to ask if he could come over to his place

In the end they didn't even end up doing more than cuddling, talking about everything and nothing and kissing. Pressed against Gokudera, snuggled together in Gokudera's bed and already drifting off to sleep he wondered if he was maybe less interested in sex than a normal boy his age was, if it made him weird that he'd rather just talk and kiss and cuddle with his boyfriend than try to have sex with him when they hadn't had much time to spend together the last couple of weeks. Maybe it did. Maybe it didn't. Tsuna decided he didn't care much. It wasn't as if he didn't want, didn't like, didn't think about sex. He did all that. He did all that a lot. Tsuna stroked trembling fingers through Gokudera's hair, softly massaging his scalp in a way he knew Gokudera liked. That was the drawback of blowjobs. You couldn't really do very much to make your partner feel just as good at the same time. That wasn't enough for Tsuna to dare risk this, though. This feeling of belonging and happiness that had still been around the last couple of weeks, but in much smaller doses.
