In which there is much failing [Part 14/16]

"Of course I want to! I want everything. Haven't I told you that enough times already?" Based on the way Gokudera looked at him, Tsuna concluded that no, he hadn't. And he really had never said it out loud, neither of them had, but Tsuna had thought Gokudera would have known anyway, the same way Tsuna knew about him.

"Hayato. I love you. I do," Tsuna told him. He could read Gokudera's face like an open book and one without multiple codes layered over another, at that. There was shock, then there was disbelief, which was so, so idiotic in Tsuna's opinion, then there was pure and utter joy, such as Tsuna could always glimpse at when they were together, but never like this, never this bright and obvious and on the surface. It made his heart dance and the rest of his body sing along. "And I'll love you even if we keep sucking at this. I'll love you even if we keep sucking at this forever and never get it right. I would really prefer it if we didn't, mind you, and I think you're being ridiculous about your horror of putting me even in the slightest bit of discomfort, but I love you anyway."

"I love you too," Gokudera said and Tsuna had known that, but hearing it was different. He felt like he could explode right now. He was just about to tell Gokudera that when he kissed him. And kissed him and kissed him.

"I know," Tsuna mumbled back between kisses, "I want to give you everything."

"I want to give you everything," Gokudera answered, eyes sparking. Tsuna needed to kiss him again. There was no choice in it at all.

"I want to show you what it feels like. If you want to," Tsuna said, placing his hands on either side of Gokudera's face. "I want to show you how it feels like, how it feels really weird but not bad if you're careful about it. I want to show you that I meant it every time I told you to keep going."

"...I might kind of already know what it feels like."

"But I know that maybe you won't like it the way I do. And it's okay if you want to stop, you'll just have to-- What?" Tsuna blinked. He couldn't quite make sense of what he was sure he'd just heard and the way Gokudera was blushing a nice, very deep red color. "What? What?"

"Of course I would never force anything on you that I didn't know to be harmless before trying, Te-Tsuna!"

Tsuna felt like his brain should be able to leek out of his ears because he was pretty sure it had just turned into mush. "So, you--?"

"I tried it on myself beforehand, of course!"

Yep, Tsuna must be dead. That was the only reasonable explanation. How else would he be able to feel so many things at once without his body collapsing? Oh god, the images his brain supplied him of Gokudera lying right here, right here on this bed, legs spread wide open, pushing his own fingers slowly, deliberately in and out of himself. Tsuna whimpered pretty pitifully.

"Therefore I knew that it could feel good, but still I--" Gokudera was againg interrupted by Tsuna launching himself at him, though this time there wasn't anything you could call kissing involved. Their mouths pressed together messily, but Tsuna couldn't spare any of his concentration that was focused on getting all these damn clothes out of the way for trying to slide their lips together properly.

"Then why," Tsuna managed to get out between gasps as Gokudera's hands were now getting distracted by Tsuna's chest after he'd gotten rid of his shirt, "why didn't you-- why couldn't you believe me-- nnngh!-- believe me when I told you it didn't hurt?"

"The first time-- I tried," Gokudera answered equally breathless because now that Tsuna had managed to voice his most important question, he was allowed to get rather preoccupied with the skin right above Gokudera's right collarbone. "I kind of-- hurt myself-- a bit-- nodon'sstop!"

"That's because you're never even slightly careful with yourself! Hayato, you are a giant idiot!" Tsuna glared down at him, but got distracted nearly immediately by the way Gokudera looked like, flushed, pupils dilated, lips almost obscenely red and slightly parted, practically asking to be kissed again. So Tsuna complied.
