Getting my ducks in a row to go back to school... yikes!  Just applied at Columbus Tech and have had RHS transcripts sent.  Need to get UNL sent and take the COMPASS test (yikes again).  My goal is to start in the fall with online classes and get most of the basics out of the way, so that when Elliot is in PreK I can do more in the classroom stuff ( Read more... )

 I have a new userpic (if you hadn't noticed)!  Someone Oly works with found this website - I'm going to have to get one of those shirts, for real.  Granted, those would have been easy enough to make, but it's a lot cooler when it's made for some other purpose and it suits your own as well.  Fun!

I want to get my hair cut, I have decided.  I'm going to keep it long, but I want some layers put in and I think I'm going with bangs again.  I have never had a fabulous haircut in Lincoln, and don't want to go to a Great Clips type place, but don't want to spend $100 either.  Any suggestions?

 Went to the doctor this morning, and it is kidney stones.  I had to have an ultrasound to be sure they weren't obstructing anything, which they aren't.  Basically I get to drink a ton of water, take a lot of narcotics, and feel like I'm in labor for the next several days.  Woo woo!!  At least it isn't something life-threatening, though, I suppose ( Read more... )
