What the hell?

Thursday morning, I woke up at 6am in excruciating pain.   I could barely move.  I've been having, off and on, dull, throbbing pain in my lower back for months, and figured it was kidney related (ie kidney stones), although I've never had one, so I can't be sure.  So that morning, I assumed immediately it was the dreaded stones (not The Stones, ( Read more... )

Oh, OW! I am so sorry! I hope it isn't anything serious and hope it's just passing. What did the midwife say about the baby and pressure on nerves and such? I am so weird, but kidney stones wouldn't have been my first reaction, mainly because I know nothing about them. I would have been all "damnit, this damn kid!" But you know a lot more about having kids than me. :D

She didn't say anything about the baby other than that it's ok for me to take hydrocodone around the clock if I need it. I didn't/don't think that it's anything pregnancy related, but I'm going to call my regular doctor tomorrow and talk to him about it... as great as Carol is for all my pregnancy needs, she just isn't all that competant otherwise. :)
