went to big sur today and it was quite beautiful.  of course we go on the hottest day of the year so far.  i can't really complain because that was only 80 degrees.  we only did one of the trails as i am terribly out of shape and was carrying a 20 pound samantha on my back.  i consider this my warm up for whenever we can get to yosemite ( Read more... )

so sam woke up this morning and her goop eye, with the blocked tear duct, was comepletely swollen shut.  so in the course of an hour i had fed her and hot compressed it twice, and got her to balboa (without showering mind you).  so now they are going to open up the tear duct, but until then i have to put these antibiotic "drops" in her eye 4 times ( Read more... )
