so sam woke up this morning and her goop eye, with the blocked tear duct, was comepletely swollen shut. so in the course of an hour i had fed her and hot compressed it twice, and got her to balboa (without showering mind you). so now they are going to open up the tear duct, but until then i have to put these antibiotic "drops" in her eye 4 times a day. i use the term drops loosely because it's actually a gel.... fun! i have to figure out how to hold down a baby, hold her bottom lid open and not jab her in the eye with the bottle. looks like i'm going to have to use the baby restraint strap on the changing table after all.
