I understand there was a screw up on the Oscars last night. It has been talked about on social media and the news. This is why I don’t watch it or any awards programs. I woke up to cold again. I had been out most of yesterday running errands here and there and then to my great nephew Lucas’ birthday party so I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. I was awoken very early this morning and tried to stay in bed and was able to stay in bed until 6:30.  I fed the cats and had some hot chocolate and watched TV and then eventually the LOTR trilogy.  That was fun as MS Tiger sat on my lap for a good long time.  I am not so sure where they are at the moment but I am guessing on the bed upstairs ( Read more... )

I had my pulmonary follow up visit and got some rather scary news on Friday.  I have a form of lung disease called Restrictive Lung Disease.  Dr. R wants me on O2 (after repeating the six minute retest and it showed that my Oxygen saturation would drop from 97 percent (at rest) to 84 percent *exertion*).  I see the Thoracic Surgeon on Thursday for ( Read more... )

As you may remember I took the last part of  last week off for the holiday and I had dropped off my car Wednesday night expecting it to be finished by Thursday and returned.  Well that didn’t happen.  There is more than oil change needed for the car.  THey told me what needs to be done including alignment.  It is going to cost 2 grand.  Something ( Read more... )

I decided to make the 4th of July a longggg weekend by taking that thursday and that Monday off.  I haven’t done that in so long.  I am a little nervous and excited about it.  I haven’t made any real substantial plans for that weekend.  The University has that Friday off so I figured it would be fun.

This week seemed like a long week for me.  Between work, appointments, family stuff, meetings it has tired me out.  I will be looking forward to tonight’s Ladies Night at the church.  It is hosted by the Knights of Columbus and they have offered to pay for our dinners to honor my BIL.
