I started getting Birthday greetings just after Midnight. First from classmates and then my SIL Ethel in the Philippines.   Since then, got more and I eventually answered them all. I was going to post one thank you message on FB but I just felt uncomfortable doing that.

It is 79 degrees in the city and back home. It is supposed to go into the 90’s by this afternoon. Then drop to the 80’s overnight. We are supposed to get a break in the heat with thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon or evening. I am that point where I hope it cools down things (something tells me it won’t).

I am having a very slow start to the day. It’s cloudy and 72 degrees right now and is expected to get in the mid-80s. It might get really sticky weather wise.

Well we finally got a beautiful and seasonal weekend. We did have some rain going into Saturday but the rest of the day was beautiful and allowed me to go on a nice long walk. After two years of being told there were locations in the running and then actually getting one we are finally out of our home of 20 years. Some of us were packing while others were working and by the end of the day everything was packed and the movers began taking the stuff out. Then at 3:30 we attended the farewell party at Paula’s. Thursdays are usually Thankful Thursdays but today is a day of saying goodbye to all of the people in the building that has been our home for 18 and half years. Despite the rain I had a great time. I got dressed around 6 and headed to my sister’s. When I arrived I had the pleasure of seeing my family in South Carolina.
