Today was a busy day. At least it was to me. I got to the office early even though people in CT do not know how to drive, walk or anything else. At least three people crossed a few streets as I was turning. Today is Sky’s turn to go see Dr.SashaG for his annual checkup. I will put him in the crate just before we leave. It is usually a stressful time for both any of us at that time. Today was the Tiger’s annual checkup at the vet. I went to work in the morning and came home at lunch time. I had it all planned out that I wouldn’t add stress to her and so I waited until just before 1:30 to put her in the crate. It took a few moments but I got her in. It did take me awhile to get to sleep last night. I tossed and turned a little and then went out to the living room and tried to sleep on the sofa while watching the NCIS marathon. I am so glad I won’t have to go out much today. It is currently 7 degrees and sunny and the temperature isn’t expected to go past 19 degrees. If I do go out it will be for a few groceries. I don’t need a lot this week. I still have pasta to make, and hamburgers, and fish I hope.

Got to work and found out there was a major network upgrade going for the building. It is not affecting remote work but for those who work in the office and the equipment and internet it does.  I have plenty of work for myself. This Recess has been like every other year, it flies by quickly. I have been trying to do stuff around the house (cleaning and organizing a little) but it ultimately goes to watching TV. I have done some meetups (mostly with the Finding friends group) and trying to manage finances.

Since I have been on recess from work I have been able to sleep in a little more than usual. I actually get up and feed the cats and have gone back to bed until 8 in the morning. Today was no different because I didn’t fall asleep until 3 or so.
