Wednesday was the beginning of the Holiday week for me. Liz and I began some of the phone calls that we needed to get done prior to the move were started that mid-morning. The house is ready to be put on the market. All the hard work for the last several weekends and even during the week has been completed. Liz’s cleaning crew came in yesterday and did a great job. I have had a sore throat since Wednesday afternoon. I had a cough that started just before my Dermatology app0intment on Wednesday. I told a few people that this has happened but I blame allergies. I came to a decision today about moving. I am not doing it. At least not right now. This is where I feel safe, I have lived here all my life and I like the area and I like the people around here. I thought we would be all moved in but the last three remaining departments, Collections, Registration, and PT services all move in on Monday. Those who are already in the building are still getting the kinks out and getting a new routine down. At times it felt like we have been there for a while now instead of just four days.

After two years of being told there were locations in the running and then actually getting one we are finally out of our home of 20 years. Some of us were packing while others were working and by the end of the day everything was packed and the movers began taking the stuff out. Then at 3:30 we attended the farewell party at Paula’s. I am writing this from work again. So, I think the title of the entry was a move update.  I haven’t done any de-cluttering in a while, but I Have planned to have some of the girls from my Finding friends group to come and help me in probably February or March.
