My Birthday
I started getting Birthday greetings just after Midnight. First from classmates and then my SIL Ethel in the Philippines. Since then, got more and I eventually answered them all. I was going to post one thank you message on FB but I just felt uncomfortable doing that.
Liz sent me a cute ecard for my birthday with a kitty and a message. She said sweet things that made me emotional. We chatted via Text this morning to let her know what I was up to. Haven’t mentioned that EP sent me a message. I suspect that she bought me a printer. I had gotten an alert on Informed Delivery that I had a package coming from Amazon.
The plans with LG are still on. She and OG Paula needed to run some errands. She wants me to come at 2:30 and we will probably hang out at the beach and then go to dinner. I left here around 1:30 as according to google maps it should take about 45 minutes or so.
Before I left, I called Liz, and chatted with her and told her I was leaving. We talked about the birthday greetings I had received so far and how great it was. I told her I wouldn’t be home until 7.
As Liz predicted the drive was heavy at times. It took me about an hour to get to LG’s house. When I got there we chatted and then opened the presents they gave me. OGPaula gave me a black sweater. LG gave me a quad beach chair.
We went to the beach and spent the next hou5:30 we went to Cuckoos Nest in Old Saybrook. LG and I had a Fajita, OG Paula had a Salad, for desserts they had fried ice cream and I had a Mudslide pie that came with a serenade from the wait staff.
We left around 7:30. I called Mama Roberta for the first 20 minutes of the ride. I told her about the restaurant and the birthday. She told me about her trip home from Florida that sounded hellish.
It was nearly 830 when I got home, I slowed down to see Liz and she looked out and she must have seen me. And then texted her to let her know that I got a cute audio video. It was about then I texted both OG Paula and Laura; to let them know I was home.
I fed Sky watched TV for a bit and then fell asleep until ten. That’s when I decided to go to bed.
