Wednesday was crazy. First I was beating myself up for sending emails to the wrong people regarding some of the mail.  When it was time to leave for the day, I left here hoping to get to the Bank and realized it was already closed. On Monday on my way home I stopped at Hungry Panda Chinese takeout place down the street.  It was about 30 plus dollars because I got the quart size of sweet and sour shrimp and 2 sodas.  It was good.  Although that night and Tuesday I was reading some mixed reviews.

I learned that a dear friend in the DTC passed away over the weekend.  His name was Marty.  He was an alderman in town and very well liked.  He has a wonderful wife too.

I am planning on going to the wake after my Doctors appointment tomorrow.  I hope I have a card in the card collection.

After having a fairly uplifting day between the credit cards getting their payments and getting the paycheck pay raise things didn’t go as planned when i got home.

I got home settled in and started cooking the chicken and feeding the cats and then checking emails and learning that the DTC meeting was last night.

It is a good thing I was going over my Meetup activities for the week. I was reviewing the one for the play next week (the Ivoryton playhouse is hosting a Women’s Playwright Initiative). It has been 30 years since my Dad passed away from a myriad of illnesses.  Most prevalent was (to my memory) kidney failure, but he had a host of other issues.  Lupus, High Cholesterol, a plastic aorta that was rupturing.  He spent the last few months of 1988 in the hospital.  Stressful beyond belief.  For everyone.  I think of him a lot but don’t ( Read more... )

I should be happy it's Friday but I am not.  I awoke with a headache.  My good intentions of getting up went so far south that I am disappointed with myself.    The only good things I managed to do is feed and water the cats and take care of their litter boxes.
