Wednesday was crazy. First I was beating myself up for sending emails to the wrong people regarding some of the mail.  When it was time to leave for the day, I left here hoping to get to the Bank and realized it was already closed. I was expecting the weather to be cloudy, cold and very windy and it was as the day progressed. It started off sunny and 45 degrees. It was pretty much the same in Killingworth. This is probably a good thing. I have heard from friends across the country. They did get snow and it ranged from 8 in to a total foot.

The rain we had overnight ended just before daybreak. The sun has been shining ever since. It's about 50 degrees both here and back home. I Didn’t bother to turn on the heat today. Not sure if Mama is right about wasting oil by turning it up and down all the time. I did a quick check and it seems to confirm her view.

Well the afternoon was semi successful. I managed to do some writing have a very weird breakfast (fish), and get ready for bingo.

Today is one of those blah rainy and cold days you would like to roll over and fall back to sleep. I almost did that this morning. Yep that’s right started my vacation on Friday.  I still had some work left but I am sure J and M will work on it. I will be off for five days.  I am having lunch with Liz on Tuesday, and Jim is coming up Wednesday and spend a day or two here.

Well the morning turned out okay despite some apprehensions and the key card not working again for the parking garage.

The holiday brunch was very nice and had a variety of things to eat.  The holiday gift this year was an umbrella.  :)  As expected a number of my co-workers did not attend.
