She'd lost two of her eight pounds since the last visit. Physical exam found nothing in particular, no problems inside her mouth such as a toothache, which had been our best hope. My sister and her daughter showed up a bit after 6pm, I had dinner delivered for them, and helped them set up their air mattresses in the basement, as T had declared his office "off limits" until he returned. Vet was pleased with the results of the tests, only problem found was some protein in the urine, for which he wants to do a follow-up test in a few weeks. He said to offer her more food, which I can do. So, that's good ( Read more... )

I enjoyed my Time to Self after I quit work at 4pm. Still haven't made plans for today, I'm waiting to hear from the vet first -- is something wrong with Sam, if so what, how serious, etc.
