Sam may seem more interested in drinking water than usual? And this can be a sign of many different age-related conditions. So, although I don't think it is an emergency, I will call the vet once I'm caught up on work emails to schedule a visit.
This is the sort of symptom that I might not notice at first because I see Sam every day, but somebody else might notice from not seeing her every day. B is also hypersensitive to this symptom because it was related to his own cat's rather sudden death a few years ago. So this has been triggering for B, and he was worried that Sam would suddenly die over the weekend, which is why he called the emergency vet, but they told him it wasn't an emergency. And, it wasn't. Sam seems fine, except a little thirsty.
B is so worked up about it though, and is super mad at T for not taking him seriously. Whereas T is feeling like B is punishing him for going away for the weekend by hyping up a nonemergency. I mean, their2 relationship does have unresolved issues, and this problem with Sam supplies a terrain upon which they2 can fight over them.
I'll get Sam to the vet at some point, but it doesn't look like an emergency.
Now trying to boot up my work computer but it has all these updates to do first, even though I was away from it less than a week. How is it that Microsoft's OS is never ever secure? They aren't "security" updates if you need them daily LOL. It's simply not a secure OS.
t and b,
sam
