Yeah, it's not the internet that's the problem - it's some people who just can't resist ruining other people/making fun of them/trolling. :(

That's funny in an odd way considering a friend of mine wrote "Dear Diary... wait, I mean Facebook. It's hard to tell these days" as his status the other day.
I remember sitting on my computer, with aol as one of the top services, listening to the buzz and hum of connecting to the interwebs and taking *forever* to download a single tune (Yeah Napster, I'm lookin at you) and now it's freakin incredible what's out there.
And not even just on the computer, but our phones! Hell our phones might as well be mini computers with all the stuff they can do now. Sometimes I miss my bulky phone or my nokia with all those cute interchangeable faceplates and buttons and playing snake >.I hate online drama, especially between two people who know each other in real life and yet they write all over each other's facey spaces. There's this thing called privacy and as many of us know, there's not a lot of that on the internet. When people choose to display their relationship that way where hundreds of thousands of people can read it - isn't that ( ... )

When I heard that students weren't learning cursive anymore I was seriously O_O

I think it's rather sad.

Yeah. There's this thing called privacy. I don't get some couples who post their love all over the wall - once in a while is fine, but every single minute? And then when they fight...oh, Lord. All over each other's walls as well. O.O

Oh, well. Their business. XD

Aww, Skype drama? That sounds bad. D: And whoa. Facebook argument? That's...whoa.

I try to avoid internet drama as much as possible because I find it just unnecessary. I mean, we ALL have drama in real life...so why do we have to have it online as well? But I've been witness to it - like just last week, my ex-officemate ended up deleting her FB because our mutual FB friends were posting stuff on their walls about how much they hated her. They didn't mention any names, but we all knew it was about her (she embezzled money from the company, so their reactions were understandable).

And a few years ago, this tight group of friends at lj found out that one of their friends had been lying to them the whole time, and so chaos ensued. It was pretty messy, though I was only a spectator.

But I wouldn't be giving up the internet! Lol. I have met people online that have become my really close friends, and I love spending time with them. :D

hmm...I've found that a lot of my real friends are just online friends now... kinda depressing when I think about it ( ... )

That's the thing about internet sometimes. We never know who's lying. :(
