That's funny in an odd way considering a friend of mine wrote "Dear Diary... wait, I mean Facebook. It's hard to tell these days" as his status the other day.
I remember sitting on my computer, with aol as one of the top services, listening to the buzz and hum of connecting to the interwebs and taking *forever* to download a single tune (Yeah Napster, I'm lookin at you) and now it's freakin incredible what's out there.
And not even just on the computer, but our phones! Hell our phones might as well be mini computers with all the stuff they can do now. Sometimes I miss my bulky phone or my nokia with all those cute interchangeable faceplates and buttons and playing snake >.I hate online drama, especially between two people who know each other in real life and yet they write all over each other's facey spaces. There's this thing called privacy and as many of us know, there's not a lot of that on the internet. When people choose to display their relationship that way where hundreds of thousands of people can read it - isn't that ( ... )

When I heard that students weren't learning cursive anymore I was seriously O_O

I think it's rather sad.

Yeah. There's this thing called privacy. I don't get some couples who post their love all over the wall - once in a while is fine, but every single minute? And then when they fight...oh, Lord. All over each other's walls as well. O.O

Oh, well. Their business. XD

Exactly! That's their business. I doubt people stop to think if others really want to read about their drama.

HOHGOD WHERE IS THE LOVELOVELOVE BUTTON? Srsly. I love my brother and I love his (now ex-) girlfriend, but when they were together, every twenty minutes (and I mean that literally) she was posting quotes or photos or "I love you"s as her status or on his wall, and I actually de-friended her for a while. (Which caused a tiff with my brother... and I'll explain that in a post of my very own.)

Oh, boy. That goes on a lot in my FB between most couples. XD *shudders*

It isn't like I don't love them both dearly, but I just... do you really have to vomit your affections on Facebook? I mean, seriously.

I think it goes down to two reasons, mostly:

1) Either they do it for attention.

or

2) They don't realize that they're doing it and aren't even aware of the attention they're getting.

Yeah.
