For drabble queen, catssyclaws
Okay, this is like super late but oh well I'll post this. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, catssyclaws! And since you're a drabble queen I'll make a drabble for you. I know, it doesn't make much sense but bear with me. And I figured I'd share this for the rest of the community too :3

It was the smell of smoke which woke her up. Sakura jumped down the bed and pulled on the bathrobe which, seconds ago, lay crumpled on the floor after it had been dropped carelessly. Her fingers fumbled with the sash as she ran down the staircase -- halfway to the first floor, she gave up in tying it altogether and let it hung loose, exposing her naked skin to the heat of fire.
Down the staircase to the left, where all the smoke seemed to come from, she faced an incredibly horrid sight to behold:
her oven was on fire.
It was a new oven, too, and she was already planning ways to punish him as the culprit turned to her, eyes half-pleading, half-determined, his hand formed several seals.
"Suiton-"
"Kakashi, don't-"
But it was too late. Water burst from nowhere and drenched the whole kitchen in a freezing flood. Sakura stood her ground, still standing on the doorway with droplets dripping down her pink locks.
"That was completely unnecessary."
Kakashi furtively tried to avert his gaze somewhere else, his hand making the usual habit of rubbing his neck as a gesture of shame, or apology. "Happy birthday ... Sakura-chan."
Sakura's lip twitched.
"Uh ..." He was now turning to the singed oven and forced the melting door open, revealing more smoke and a lump of blackened, dead, devil spawn which appeared to be a poor effort on a cake. He took a candle -- the fuse was wet, obviously -- from the table and stuck it on the dark mush. "I'll ... light it up," he said feebly, hands moving into seals to release a fire technique.
"DON'T YOU DARE, HATAKE KAKASHI."
"But-"
"I love you-"
"So why-"
"And I'm really grateful, you know-"
"So-"
"But burn my kitchen for the second time this morning and I'll use Pakkun for my acupuncture practice."

It fails. But I do hope you laugh, or at least snort at Kakashi being whipped so early in the morning. <3
