I met a hawk today, coming home from dropping a load off at home. (This is the kind of language I use during moves. I was going from Attleboro to Easton, in other words. Or from the new place to the old place. It was a bit humid today.)

Hey, so I don't have COVID-19! (Yet.) I mean, I didn't think I *did*, I mostly thought I had humiliating heat exhaustion and possibly pre-Lyme, but it was a good just-in-case measure, and it also was A Useful Thing I Could Do for the country as a whole. So, my doctor's office immediately had me come in when I called.

My doctor (who's a Doctor of Nursing, which I love) said that, as is true, Lyme doesn't tend to become detectable until 4-6 weeks after a bite, so she wants me to come in eventually and get checked, but didn't test for it now.
