2016 Year-End Recap

First Three Days of New York
We've had three full days in New York now. Absolutely exhausted after the 8 hour flight to Hong Kong plus the 15 hour flight to New York. All up we were on the road for more than 30 hours with minimal sleep! The first afternoon was all sleep, then we got up at 9pm (9 in the morning in Perth!) and went out to 34th Street for a pizza. iTravel
My wife has an iTravel....it works much better than the iPad because the iTravel carries a laptop in his backpack for her, picks up her luggage, carries her shopping and navigates foreign cities for her. -
Of Course, It's Journey!
Tv stations here have been showing some previews of "Glee", which is apparently a musical style show about a musical. Anyway, I'm not here to disparage the show, except to say that it's probably not something I'd be interested in. So men are truly redundant
First, they invented bugspray. Then artificial insemination. Now my fiancee has found out that wrapping a rubber band around the lid of a tight jar enables her to open it easily.
Men are truly not needed anymore!

There was a poll on an Australian news website today. Question: "Should workers get a 5 per cent pay rise to cope with inflation?"
A huge majority - 79% of voters, presumably Aussies - voted yes.

Went to see BON JOVI in concert last week. Pretty awesome atmosphere at Subi Oval. They played their old hits as well as their new "Lost Highway" stuff. Eric, Me Olde Mate
It's been nice to see Eric again on his annual pilgrimage home to Perth. Good times! We boxed and drank beer.
Apparently he's been boxing once a week at a gym in Canberra, but judging by the state of his skills, I'm a bit dubious as to the quality of the coaching at his new "gym".
