Of Course, It's Journey!
Tv stations here have been showing some previews of "Glee", which is apparently a musical style show about a musical. Anyway, I'm not here to disparage the show, except to say that it's probably not something I'd be interested in. However, the previews kept playing a really poppy/boppy song that got on my nerves....a lot. I thought it was the theme song of the show and it was had the lyrics "Don't Stop Believing".
I forgot about it for a while, then Su said that she watched an episode and it was all about cover songs. BAM! It hit me....the song from the previews was "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. Gosh, I haven't heard that song in over a decade!!! I loved the song when I was younger. I was kicking myself for not recognising it earlier, but Glee's cover was so....so...WRONG...that the song didn't even click with me. I guess it sounded as though they took a great rock song and "Disneyfied" it. :)
