I don't know when I will use it, or if I shall use it, but I have just bought over 50 yards of black lace. 46 yards in two different kinds is narrow, 4 yards is about 1 1/2" wide. And I paid the magnificent sum of 50p for it - about 90 cents if I have the conversion the right way round! The narrow will trim chemises or drawers for Victorian, or it ( Read more... )

Well, I have got the main part of the job I was quoting for. It is for a piece to be used in the interactive section of a new exhibit at the Museum of London, about London c.400A.D. to 1558!!
