I don't know when I will use it, or if I shall use it, but I have just bought over 50 yards of black lace. 46 yards in two different kinds is narrow, 4 yards is about 1 1/2" wide. And I paid the magnificent sum of 50p for it - about 90 cents if I have the conversion the right way round! The narrow will trim chemises or drawers for Victorian, or it will come in handy for something one day! None of it is cotton, but these days it is increasingly difficult to get cotton lace.
I am just thrilled with my bargain. Now I have to wind it on some card - the boring bit!!
