So, I posted today on Facebook a link from Gillette called www.curepity.org , and I found myself having to put it into practice today.
Grant has been playing with the neighbors a lot. Two little girls that are his age, and they play so well together! I heard him bawling and crying today, and I didn't know what was going on. Was he hurt? Mad? ( Read more... ) -
Foods
What I made for Sunday:
A turkey breast Neil received for Easter that had been in the deep freeze. It was very large. For a breast.
A pot roast in the crockpot. Tenderness divine.
Mashed potatoes that my mom mashed.
Sweet potatoes. Quite tasty with brown sugar and marshmallows.
Stovetop stuffing my sister made. Just one of those things we like. :)

MRI results
We received the letter with Grant's MRI results. They aren't bad (if they were, I'm sure we would have been called), but they aren't great either. His MRI last year showed a syrinx (fluid) along the spinal column. This is normal for sb kids. His syrinx has increased in size, which isn't unexpected, but just something I had hoped wouldn't. springtime

crying moments
They hit me suddenly and unexpectedly. I'll be happy even, and boom, I'm fighting off tears. Last week it happened almost every single day, and it was triggered by something as innocent as visiting my in-laws and sitting in a clean house. Or a song. Or a smell. Or a single thought. Not coming home yet
We are still in the hospital. Grant had significant drainage from his incision last night. The ns ended up reinforcing the stitches. Now we're doing the observation thing. l'm tired. l miss my kids. Hospitals.
