It's been a rather busy month for me, so here are the highlights.

- I had the opportunity to have drinks with Nora Dunn. She was in town for a fundraiser for Mercury Players, and I got myself invited to go out afterwards. I didn't really talk much because I get really shy around people I don't know, but it was cool to have a brush with fame.

1. I'm all better today. I guess I didn't have to worry too much about my job after all. Thank goodness. So that's one less thing hanging over my head.

2. I don't know if I mentioned it here, but I found out my mom got off of work so she can come see my show! Yay! Now, here's hoping all my Madison friends will come to see it.

Tonight was my first real rehearsal of the short I'm doing. It's going to be so much fun!! I'm loving my character and all the interactions among the characters. I think it's kind of Gilmore Girls-esque in the rapid fire dialogue, but also very much a screwball comedy.

I mean, seriously. It's rather annoying. I even had an extra day off, and it doesn't feel like it. I think I need a nice long vacation.

I'm very giddy right now. So giddy that I may not be able to sleep.

As usual, I don't have anything of great importance to say here. But I'm using Mr. Grumble because I'm annoyed that I had to work all weekend. Mainly because I feel semi-guilty for taking next Friday off to watch my sister do her senior synthesis presentation thingy. But my TL is all, "OMG, that's less than a week before the deadline." Ending a show's run is always bittersweet to me. Bitter because I love the show and the cast and I'll miss seeing them all. Sweet because I get my life back for a little while.
