I think I have a theater problem

Seriously. I'm still in the middle of a run of one of my shows, and I'm already planning on auditioning for something else tomorrow. Call me crazy, but I've become an attention whore, I think.

However, more about the current show I'm in. It's totally a blast. I'm still loving my particular short play and having a lot of fun with it. I think the audience in general has loved it, too. Although it's hard to tell because we're the first show, and it's sometimes taken the audience a bit to warm up. I think we do a good job at warming them up, though, and by the time we reach the boob grab, we usually get some thunderous laughter. (Those Madison friends who have seen the show know what I'm talking about, and those that haven't will soon. Or better. I'm still waiting to see some of you in the audience.)

Also, Mom came to the show last night, which was awesome. She loved it a lot. I'm so happy she was able to get off of work and come down to see it. Hopefully the next show I'm in my sister will actually be able to see.

Oh, and I also got mentioned in the review for the show. It was a brief mention, and the reviewer said that two of my costars carried the show, but still. It's a mention. Hopefully if I continue to get cast in shows, I'll become a regular on the arts page of the local newspaper.

What? I'm an attention whore. I readily admit that.

Even though I'm having a great time with this show, I'm thrilled to have a few days off to be able to come home right after work instead of going straight to the theater. That'll be nice.

And now I'm off to perhaps do a little writing or more likely, just relax until it's time for bed.
